Only available for the month of August @naiise , the ondeh ondeh latte is just the drink for me to sip on while reminiscing on good old times in celebration of the nation’s 54th birthday. Not too sweet with a good hint of gula melaka and some desiccated coconut topping.

Gem (III):
Haritts donuts are chewier than regular donuts, less oily and heavily dusted in sugar. A great afternoon treat to pamper yourself with.

Gem (II): Made Cold slew of drinks that I loved and am thinking how to lay my hands on (as they do not have a physical store but mostly appear at pop ups events).
The interesting Pineapple Carrot Ice won me over, so did the cold brew tonic which would switch things up for a caffeine addict’s regular dose.

One of which are Boufe’s iconic pill- capsule cakes dressed in our patriotic colours was a sure treat for the eyes and palate. The later jiggly rabbit tarts were also fun to picture and have.

Gem (I): Tea Pulse’s healthy concoction of drinks.
First the Event Special of Hibiscus Hawthorn Fermented Lemonade with Chestnut pearls. An excellent blend giving Starbucks Hibiscus drink a run for its money. What I consider a more “well endowed” version of Hibiscus Lemonade, the in house made chestnut pearls gave it an Asian touch that I appreciated.

Then there are these decadent drinks that the establishment vouches to keep minimally adulterated; think pure sweet potato mashed and blend for the PP Smoothie and full avocados, honey and cane sugar (instead of white sugar) for the green smoothie.

But what I truly loved was the lemongrass- kombucha Chia seed jelly drink that was so easy to have every other day because of its taste and health benefits.
