Nai Nai Flavor brings popular Hangzhou comfort food to the East. The spread I had was visually stunning and incredibly satisfying. The savoury items included Old Shaoxing Steamed Soup Dumplings 老绍兴蒸汤包 and a brilliantly crispy, deep-fried Youbu Style Egg Cake 游埠鸡子粿. Also enjoyed some crisp golden Brown Sugar Glutinous Rice Cake 红糖滋粑 accompanied by refreshing Guava & Peach Drink 芭乐水蜜桃. The star of the meal for me was the soul-warming Grandma’s Secret Dishes 奶奶传承神仙鸡. Wrapped up the meal with a beautifully presented glass teapot of sweet Traditional Style Double Boiled Pear with White Fungus 古法银耳吊梨汤, which was a light and soothing finish. A perfect spot for a comforting meal!

Can’t believe I am raving about soup! But I am! The soup is delicious, service and ambience is also great. Came around 3-5PM on a weekday, and it is quiet and good for conversations.

Soup was really good and not too greasy, flavourful and chicken inside was tender. Very photogenic, tastes as good as it looks.

Tried the authentic and unique Hangzhou dishes here - The Youbu style egg cake (filled with meat and chives) had a satisfying bite. Dumplings had a nice chewy skin and went perfectly with a mix from the self-serve sauce station (vinegar, soya sauce, chilli oil). Also liked the double boiled pear with white fungus soup and lime roselle tea—light, refreshing and a nice way to end the meal.

Nai Nai Flavour is a lovely spot for comforting Hangzhou-style food that feels homely, authentic and different from the usual Chinese restaurants in Singapore. The dishes tasted fresh, handmade and not too greasy, which made the whole meal very enjoyable.

We tried the Grandma’s Secret Dishes, a chicken and pork soup that was rich, hearty and comforting. The Shrimp Fried Rice was fragrant, well-fried and had a nice wok hei flavour. The Old Shaoxing Steamed Soup Dumplings were warm and satisfying, with a comforting soup filling. For dessert, the Brown Sugar Glutinous Rice Cake was soft, chewy and lightly sweet, making it a nice ending to the meal.

The Lime Roselle Tea was refreshing and helped balance the richer dishes. Overall, Nai Nai Flavour is worth visiting if you want authentic Hangzhou dishes that are hearty, unique and rarely seen in Singapore.

Nai Nai Flavor serves up amazing Mixed Rice Noodles alongside the most tender, flavorful chicken and pork soup. The crispy Youbu Style Egg Cake and the Brown Sugar Glutinous Rice Cake are absolute must-tries!
