It has been a few years since I returned to the Hougang branch but sadly, other than this dish, the rest of the dishes including the Pandan Chicken are fairly normal. This vermicelli retains a good moist texture and wok-hei, and the portion is quite generous.

Delicious yet affordable thai food. There is always a queue in whichever outlet. The service was quite fast.

Nakhkon needs no introduction. Opted for a less spicy clear version of the Tom Yam soup as one of my friends can't take spicy. Though it is less spicy, it still has a good kick to it. Love that the ingredients is quite generous too.

Be prepared to queue!

I have been to Nakhon once and it wasn't that impression. This time I gave it another try and it didn't disappoint me! The dishes are well priced green curry ($8), Tom Yum soup ($6), Phad Thai($6) etc.. you get it 😉 Taste wise it's considered not bad but I have tried better Tom Yam soup as I prefer it to be more sourly with more lemongrass flavor. The dishes here are considered to be quite sweet but still acceptable. Would still go back again as it's reasonably priced !

I’m a regular at Nakhon since 6 years ago. Although the quality if food fluctuates a bit sometimes, overall still tasty. Very worth your money here as 1 portion of main will cost $6-8 and is enough to fill up your tummy.
Clear Tom yum soup is spicy and has a kick to it. My favorite is still the green curry as it is milky but full of spice as well. Great for those who cannot tolerate spicy food.

Honey Chicken Rice ($6) topped up to add an egg. A little in the dry side, wouldn’t really order this again.
