the baguette was crispy and well toasted. the lemongrass chicken was very flavourful and tasty, and went together very well with the crunchy and fresh vegetables. no MSG is added!

Spicy Hue Beef Noodles

PRICE: $10 nett

SERVICE: Thumbs up for the smiley, chirpy local auntie behind the cashier counter

SPECIAL LOVE FOR 💗: The generous amount of beef slices • The flavorful soup

Nothing compares to The Lunch Lady's bowl of Bún bò Huế that we had in HCMC, but this bowl is definitely satisfactory enough

This is one of the commercialised restaurant that I will go back again and again.

Name: Pho Pork Balls
Priced at: 8.90SGD

This is a biased post because i don't like pho very much. I want my noodles to be hard core noodles where you just scoop without looking and start slurpping away. I don't like to wade ankle-deep in basil trying to pick them out becuause I also don't like basil.
This is a very biased post.
The soup was really good though. Just light enough to keep you going without wasting stomach space on water. And the pork balls were great.

Name: Dry spicy minced meat pork balls noodle
Priced at: 9.90 SGD

Such a long name, no?
There's nothing really left for me to say except that it's not really dry because there's some sort of soup base at the bottom of the bowl, and that's the part where the spiciness gets intense. Like REAL intense. Like the I-need-ice-cream-now-and-this-is-not-an-excuse-to-eat-ice-cream kind of intense.

The pork balls were really good though.

Second time at Nam Nam and it's still as good! Can't expect too much for the price but it's yummy enough for me and the beef is pretty generous too.
