For every meal you order here, you will get this together as set.

The portion is good enough, so it won’t go too overwhelming for me.

Very affordable meal here and you just can’t go wrong to accept auntie’s invite to their stall.

At the popular alley at the Namdaemun Market, you find all sort of food stalls serving traditional Korean foods.

Be warned that upon you step in, the aunties will start bringing you to their stall. But I’m okay with their kindness and friendly even to the tourists.

Because you won’t regret for accepting their offer. I straight went to the first stall to have some decent Korea foods.

The bibimbap comes with all sort of ingredients for you to mix them together. It was funny because I’m not good at mixing them (the rice still white without the sauce), so the auntie took over my bowl and mixed it nicely for me.

You also entitled some side dishes like the kimchi and soup as well.

You can easily find stores in Namdaemun Market that sells this street food. I went to this store located near Gate 3 in the market that sells both sweet and savoury versions. Sweet hotteok (krw1000) has a mix of sugar, honey and nuts whereas the savoury one (krw1000) is filled with japchae - glass noodles, carrots, and spinach. The deep-fried hotteok is chewy and a trifle oily, so might want to share this!
