Nan Heng Hainanese Chicken Rice (Bukit Merah Central)

This is large size, that's why so much meat. I forgot to take their interesting chilli sauce zzz.

Like wanton mee, chicken rice is a medley of parts. Meat here is old-school warm chicken, not the iced type, and it's excellent. Rice was not as full-bodied as it could be. Soup was ordinary. Chilli here is interesting, carrying different notes from usual chicken rice chilli.

Chicken rice - the skin had a gelatinous texture and the breast meat was plump and tender.
