📍Nana’s Green Tea
- Hoji Latte🍵
- Hoji Shiratama Float🍦

Hoji latte was quite okay, quite gao (strong hoji powder taste) and hint of bitterness, not bad at all!

Nice hangout place too...

Damage: $16.05

$6.90 | Nana’s Green Tea never disappoints. Absolutely love how the matcha latte is thick, bitter and intense. I find the sweetness just right and even when the ice melts, the matcha latte doesn’t taste diluted at all. Definitely going back to try the other stuffs on the menu!

It’s currently on Entertainer App, with 25% off total bill!

The chicken karage is delicious! Crispy and well seasoned. Curry udon is good but could be better if the curry was thicker. But personal preference..

Savouring the last moments of this year’s Sakura season, I chose this seasonal item which costed S$15.80, just like the standard parfaits they would serve at Nana’s Green Tea.

The dessert was created with Strawberry sauce at the bottom, followed by a layer of very faint pinkish Sakura mousse and some vanilla soft-serve. Then came a good scoop of cornflakes to nest a ball of strawberry ice cream, Sakura sweetened bean paste, three Shiratama balls, slices of fresh strawberries before adding the whipped cream and dousing another serving of strawberry sauce.

On the whole, the parfait provided many layers of texture and flavours, especially the contrasting ingredients like the fruits and sauce which balanced off the sweetness of the ice cream. I particularly liked the bean paste which tasted really delicious, and those strawberry sauce that they used seemed more like a reduction from strawberry compote.

Matcha Parfait ($10.90) consist of matcha ice cream, sweet beans, cornflakes, jelly, whipping cream coated green tea sauce. I find the matcha ice cream to be not that sweet taste.

I can’t believe the last time I visited Nana’s Green Tea was 4 years ago back in Malaysia.

Decided to revisit again to try on their lunch set that also available during the weekends. Their chicken katsu cutlet was crispy as usual with delicious curry. The set meal also comes with your choice of drink and a miso soup. $14.90++
