Matcha Soft Serve with Warabi Mochi (~$8) had a strong matcha taste: slightly bitter and a tad powdery, but this was good quality matcha ice cream!🍦It wasn’t too intense unlike some soft serves I’ve tried, so those who avoid really strong matcha desserts, this would be a good option!
Warabi mochi was wiggly and amazingly soft, easily breaking apart upon biting. Powdered with Kinako, this contrasted the smooth creamy ice cream well! 😊👌🏻

Known for its matcha, this place serves up affordable set lunch with quality food at $13.90++ that consists of a main, soup and drink of choice. I had the chicken naebae served with Japanese brown rice and creamy potato salad and fresh greens as sides. The cutlet was crispy on the outside while maintaining moist on the inside, and the egg mayo sauce was tasty and went very well with it. The brown rice (love the healthier surprise) was perfectly cooked too!

Good flavours nicely balanced! And of course the best part is the rich matcha ice cream with the red bean paste, which was made even better with the crunchy cereal flakes. Satisfaction guaranteed!

Good quality food for $13.90+ which consist of soup, main and drinks. I like it that there is a good variety, something for everyone.

Wasn’t feeling very well so I just ordered the sukiyaki udon. The broth is clear and light, perfect when you need something warm and soupy. Beef slices were also thin and tender. Topped with tofu, poached egg (protein sources), shimeiji mushroom and jap leek (vegetables), it makes this bowl of udon a well balanced meal. Overall something good for when you are feeling a little under the weather. The Thin Matcha Green Tea didn’t really have a strong matcha taste though, so it was quite disappointing. But this came as a lunch set, so overall, it’s still value for money.

Nana’s Green Tea at Plaza Singapura has been my go-to for matcha desserts with friends 💕 due to its strategic position in the mall (+ close proximity to me via MRT) ✔ Good news for their fans - joining the 2 outlets at PS & DUO Galleria is another newly opened outlet at Wisma Atria Level 4 Japan Food Town! 🎉🎉🎉
Enjoy premium tea & dessert pairing here at Nana’s as only quality ingredients imported from various parts of Japan are used in their drinks & food. 💚💚💚 You are bound to enjoy their sweet treats from the immense effort & commitment to high quality! 💯 E.g. their warabimochi are made in-house every day using traditional processes to ensure that the iconic chewy consistency is well-presented to diners. No shortcuts taken! 👌🏻
Here are the sweet treats that we tried:
❤Matcha Warabimochi Parfait ($13.70): features base of matcha pudding, vanilla soft serve, crunchy cereal, chewy kinako warabimochi, sweet azuki paste, matcha ice cream, topped with whipped cream & a drizzle of matcha syrup.
❤Black Sesame Warabimochi Parfait ($13.70): same as above except for black sesame pudding & ice cream used. Highly recommended - GOMA WAS SO INTENSE! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
