Yakitori Bento 焼鳥弁当 (S$18.50++)
Set B
5 Yakitori - asparagus maki (asparagus wrapped with pork), negima (chicken with leek), tsukune (chicken meat balls), garlic pork, shiitake mushrooms
Served over vegetable sticks accompanied with miso dip, and along with minced meat, braised mushroom, and seeweed over rice. Sadly the seaweed wasn’t crispy. The pork stick was disappointing as it’s tough and fatty.

Available during lunch & early dinner (5.45pm - 6.45pm)

Topup with Set C (S$9++)
Which came with appetizer (braised fried salmon), pickles, salad, Assorted tempura (2 prawns, 1 egg plant, 1 pumpkin), miso soup, cold green tea (refillable), and complimentary dessert (mochi in red bean soup).

The staff taking order seem to be in a hurry, although there’s wasn’t much customers around at that time. I asked what’s negima yet she replied that both sets are the same except you want lady’s finger or asparagus. Kind of like not answering my question.

Tried the course menu for 2 people and it was A LOT of food. Apart from the yakitori (including mushroom yakitori not in this pic) and salmon sashimi, there was also:

- hotpot (not super impressive tbh, but okay this place is famous for yakitori not nabe)
- rice (tastes like garlic rice, made us very thirsty after eating)
- grilled fish
- anko with mochi dessert

Food is served in stages so we weren’t overloaded by the quantity.

We were really full by the end of this, but I might not opt for this in the future - mostly because I prefer the yakitori and a lot of this course was not!

i would say this set was super worth it.
it allows you to try a variety of skewers. love how juicy the chicken meatballs were. there were also a variety of toppings on the rice. you can add extra to make it a set.

love how tender the pork slices were! truffle taste could have been stronger

mentaiko, cheese and potato served on a hot plate! potato was soft enough and the cheese was so stretchy!!!

Shiitake($6.20)
Mushroom were grilled to perfection. Soft and lightly seasoned.
-
Uzura Tamago($4.70)
Popping some Quail's Eggs with light seasoning.
