Topped with beansprouts, minced meat and spring onions! Looks really good but unfortunately really, really salty. Was hoping to get a lighter tasting broth so I opted for miso instead of tonkotsu, so I was disappointed by this. Overall an average dish, nothing to scream about!

In search of the best bowl in town, and we ended up in Orchard Central with an empty tummy aching to be filled and high expectations.
Although I can’t say for sure that this Nantsuttej has the best ramen, but it’s surely a worthy contender (at least in Sg).
The broth was super rich, a umami bomb to be exact. Swimming in the thick soup is springy, semi-hard noodles, crunchy beansprouts (loads of em’!), and flavourful chashu slices.
Loved the broth, enjoyed slurping up the noodles and went home with a satisfied tummy.

I’ve heard so much about Nantsuttei being one of the best ramens in Singapore and I finally got to try it. It was extremely value for money and I though the prices were really affordable here! The noodles were of a perfect texture and consistency as well, and the soup was pretty rich too. What really disappointed me was the chashu, which was thin, bland and dry. Overall, definitely worth a try and a really affordable meal in town.

This is the signature ramen with extra chashu. Their chashu was good enough. The pork bone broth here is paired with garlic oil, which dominates, and can be jelak. This is also the bigger bowl, which was just nice for me.

4 pieces of chashu, lots of shredded leeks, spring onions and bean sprouts in tonkutso broth with roasted garlic oil. I added ramen egg $1.50++ - which is nicely cooked but I feel not necessary to add-on as there are plenty of ingredients.

The noodles are nicely cooked. I like the noodles. I love that there are plenty of veggies in my noodles. It provides a much needed balance to the rich broth and adds a nice crunch to the dish. The broth is “japan style salty”.

The chashu is my least favourite component. It’s ok - some parts are abit dry, some good, some are average. But mostly it’s just okay.

Above average ramen place.

A decent bowl of ramen offering rich tonkotsu broth with a splash of black garlic oil. Charsiu wasn't my favourite- limp and lacking in flavour. The straight noodle had a good bite though (I requested for "hard"). The regular size is good enough without making me feel too bloated after the meal. Won't be the first ramen shop that comes across my mind but don't mind going back if I'm in the area without specific dinner plans.
