This restaurant offers a few types of Polo bun, the original, the version with butter, and the version with pineapple filling. I have the last one. I doesn't remember much about the pineapple filling, but the bun was fluffy soft. Price: RM4.00, Food: 7/10
One if the best place to soothe the throat will the here. Comfort drink, not too sweet, not too hot. Price: RM4.90, Food: 10/10
Ekocheras is growing to be a food hub in Cheras bit by bit, growing traffic can be seen. There are all kinds of food you can find here and this one caught my attention due to their affordable price. I was really surprised to find that this is my top in the Hong Kong style wanton mee list. It was perfect! Thin springy noodle are seasoned with light soy sauce and shrimp seed. Shrimp seed is in fact a more flavorful prawn item than a prawn itself, it was like matching bolt and nut to have this with wanton noodle. Wanton serving was very good too, fresh and chewy shrimp paired with hand-chopped pork mince, cooked to the texture I love the most. I do not have a photo, but another variety of wanton mee - the braised pork leg wanton mee deserved a 5 stars rating too. Only thing is that unless you are super fans of braised pork, else I would recommend to share it as the sauce itself is tasty but easy to feel gross too. Their service was very fast too, it is easy to figure out this as they have like 20 staff serving like 30 tables in the weekend. Thumbs up! Price: RM11.90, Food: 10/10
Decadent, fragrant bun with NZ Anchor butter and quite a thick coffee with tea drink (cham). Good tea time snack!
