Went back to Napoleon as we loved their food, but this time it was such a disappointment. Tried their lamb rack - it’s really the smallest rack I’ve ever had (like you literally have 4-5 one dollar size bite of lamb for the $43++). And because it’s very small, the outer two slice were cooked to done and it was really tough. Eggplant was also too burnt that the whole thing tasted bitter.
Well-balanced texture and marbling. Iberico is of good quality and pairs well with the delicate notes of the truffle madeira sauce.
Dessert Platter for two (~$21): was a hit or miss, chocolate ganache was thick, deNse and my fav!!! 🍫 Lemon tarts were alright and sea salt macaron was just too overwhelming and sweet :-( 🌿

Hand Cut Grass Fed Beef Tartare (~$34): Firstly I am not a fan of raw beef and neither am I a fan of cold meats but this was something 😛 Can’t really describe this so you gotta try it yourself but if it’s any consolation I’m a SUPER PICKY EATER and I ate this 🤷🏻♀️ Though I wouldn’t recommend eating this whole thing by yourself!

My mediocre photography skills DOES NOT do this perfectly cooked Pan Roasted Iberico Pork Rack (~$32) justice... 🍖 Thought the portion was small at first but this absolutely tender and lean pork dish filled me up! Even the side of lentils ragout with truffle sauce was done well 😍 take... my money.... (though truffle flavour wasn’t really there)

This is the most number of shrimps (I believe there are at least 30) I've ever seen in a pasta dish 😱 but who's complaining when you get at least 2 shrimps for every twirl of pasta 😌 The truffle scent is subtle, but I like that it wasn't overpowering (hence jelat). Break the yolk and give it a good toss, it'll add a nice creamy coating to the angel hair that I'd have preferred firmer!
