With its late night dinner and bar bites offerings and very comprehensive drinks menu, Nassim Hill, nestled in the Tanglin Post Office building, brings new energy and excitement to the downtown dining and bar scene. With its extensive drinks list that includes a variety of beers on tap, wines, whiskies, boutique malts, champagnes, spirits, liquors and cocktails, Nassim Hill becomes the perfect spot for the ultimate pairing between great cuisine and drinks. Taking centre stage is an enormous marble counter that seats up to 20 something one might find in a medieval tavern. Customers in Nassim Hill are encouraged to share dining space and mingle at the counter and the communal tables, and tap their own draught beers at the end of the counter, where the taps are located. The bar also serves its unique all-day signature cocktails such as Yuzu Breeze or Dirty Sriracha Bloody Mary and has the longest happy hour in town for draught beer pints from 9 am to 9 pm. The bistro is also well known for its famed malt-flavored Stout beer bread, used in their signature Hot Reuben sandwich. Taking a spin on classic dishes, the bistro also offers Spicy Eggs Benedict and Chili Crab pasta as well as healthier alternatives such as their generously sized Detox Salad, The Nutty Bird and Asian Chicken salads. Good first experience at Nassim Hill Bakery Bistro for brunch. Though burpple beyond discount was only meant for dinner menu after 4pm. Will be back to try out next time!

Not impressed.
We ordered a sea bass and dry laksa pasta. Then (it seems) upon knowing we were on burpple, the staff came back and told us there was no more sea bass.

Shortly after, another staff came along and served the sea bass dish. Imagine how we felt.

We thought it wasn't very nice. He looked confused and actually left the dish at our table to check, and came back with the reason that the order belonged to someone else and it was the last one. Whatever they served later was hardly enjoyable becos the experience already left a bad taste.

We concluded the best dish was definitely the dessert (to sweeten the experience on our own). The choc mud pie originally cost $7 and the size of it so small my already skeptical friend and I thought maybe it's actually sliced into half too. The silver lining is tt we shave some calories off our waistlines. .

I believe in honesty and integrity in doing business. And I hardly bother to spend time writing bad reviews. here u have one.

Wind down after work with excellent nosh and chill vibes at this bistro bar tucked away along Tanglin Road. Must-haves include the addictively spicy, tangy Chilli Crab Pasta ($17), and the Cheddar Cheese Bacon Waffles ($20) – think crispy and fluffy waffles with cheddar cheese and bacon bits incorporated into a fragrant waffle batter, resulting in a perfect savory balance.

A signature dish that is locally inspired. Decent amount of jumbo lump crabmeat; much less sweet than the usual chilli crab and slightly spicier.

This is an absolute must-try and underrated item on the menu. The mussels are small bouchot mussels that are sweet; the sauce is a white wine buttery sauce with a spicy kick that tempts you to just drink it by the spoonful. Goes wonderfully with the baguette slices that comes with the dish!

Steak and eggs will never go wrong. Fluffy egg, with perfectly seasoned medium rare steak!

Second option to the chilli crab pasta!
