Fragrant rice with great spread of Chilli. I like the taste but not the price ...

Made famous by their Balinese forerunners, Naughty Nuri's in Desa Sri Hartamas has everything you need for a great night out — delicious food, beer and music! A considerable area of the restaurant is outdoors. Save your visit for when the skies are clear, so you can hang out with your friends without fear beneath the bulbs and amidst good vibes. Huddle over their 1995 Signature BBQ Pork Ribs (RM45), a generous barbecue-glazed slab that's good for sharing. We hope you brought petai fans because the Smelly Piggy (RM21) serves scrumptious pork belly atop sambal petai. Cap it off with happy hour beer (RM10) from 9pm to midnight!
Recommended for 4-6 pax.

I popped into Naughty Nuris on a whim, as it is next door to Bricks and Barrels and looked like it was bustling! Plus they offer jockey service, which is needed in Sri Hartamas on and evening where parking is next to impossible. The food was bursting with flavour. I had the pork ribs, for 45rm. They were so tender, and the bbq sauce was perfect accompaniment, the generous portions of meat just fell of the bone. I had the 8rm caramelised onion rice, which was the perfect accompanying dish. Friends had pork chop and the chicken dish with the sambal, all of which left everyone happy. Atmosphere is great, though the constant repeats of happy birthday on the stereo and dancing got a bit boring quick, maybe good for families and groups but all a bit rowdy. Worth it for the food, though, and will go here to satisfy pork cravings.

An Indonesian inspired restaurant. This slab of pork ribs is so delicious I think this is the best ribs I've tried by far. Squeeze some lime on top of the meat and rub the chilly sauce on top for some delicious kick. (Optional. Having it by itself is delicious too!) Very tender meat. Soft and flavourful. Falls of the bones without any hassle. Finger licking good! Thank god they did not drown the meat in BBQ sauce.
The manager/owner of the restaurant cut it up for us and says the our ribs was very fresh because he could cut it with minimal effort. If it's tough, it's quite an old meat. He would send it back and give us a fresher one.
Although I had quite a tough meat on my second visit, other parts were still as delicious. My first visit was the best though!
If you're looking good BBQ pork ribs, head over to Naughty Nuri's, just behind Bricks and Barrels. They also have other delicious porky dishes! To be reviewed soon!
Food: 8/10 Price: 9/10 (RM 39 for one slab!! Comparing this to ante's kitchen, the portion is about the same. But the price difference is huge! I think the price for this slab of ribs is really worth it. 😁)
