Chicken > pork. Pork slightly dry. Comes w rice, refillable miso soup, 2 ebi (so fresh), 2 fried oysters (my partner says this is good), 2 karaage (not crispy/hot)
Don't laugh at the chicken hahaha. Okay you should. The gravies and sauces made the meal still enjoyable though.
It lived up to its fame. A lot of peanut sauce to go with the well-done beehoon. Too much cuttlefish for my liking but that's a plus.
From their Gobbowl concept. Like many places, the bowls were customisable. Mine has onsen egg and roasted vegetables. Quite basic because the cutlet is basic.
There are quite a few outlets of Alchemist Coffee, but none are like the one housed at The Mill. The building is painted entirely in black and gives off a Gothic feel, looking simultaneously imposing and eerie.
What I like about this outlet of Alchemist is its obscurity and high ceiling with a gorgeous chandelier. There are two blends of coffee beans on offer and I picked Dark Matter.
My ๐ช๐ต๐ถ๐๐ฒ was smooth and medium-bodied, giving off hints of hazelnut. The ๐ฃ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐ผ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ฝ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ฟ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ป, with a crispy, flaky exterior hiding a fragrant and sweet pistachio and raspberry cream, was outstanding as well.

i was introduced to this place as the โmore affordable din tai fungโ hahaha so had to give it a try. tomato egg noodles were pretty decent but because i got it to go, the soup wasnโt piping hot when i put the noodles in so they were a little clumpy :( but the tomato broth was still rich and had that distinct sweet-sour flavour which i liked.
we tried the following flavours:
- pistachio
- goma
- dark chocolate
- salted caramel
- tie guan yin earl grey
all of them had rich flavours, not too sweet but very fragrant. would come back again
Quite a good version, not super strong but the sauce coats the noodles very well. It's not super impressive but it's an all rounder
