Food was good, esp enjoyed the frog porridge. Came early and we got seats upstairs. Was fully seated after 6pm with lotsa families.
got a free hotplate fried chicken because we spent above a certain amount!! it's in an industrial building so don't expect everything to be hygienic though i lowkey liked the ratchet vibes💀

I could see why some people actually don’t like this stall, as it don’t have the wok hey that you would expecting here.
The noodles absorbed the prawn broth, added with garlic and pork lard for the taste. I would say the taste itself is sadly not strong enough but at least wasn’t too tasteless.
So you definitely want to add on the lime and chili paste. Then you could really enjoy much of it that comes with prawns, pork belly, egg and squid.
Also I found that the way the egg added is interesting here, as you get almost a complete pieces of egg as you eat. Unlike the usual where most stall cooked the egg together with the noodle and become tiny pieces.
Tried their signature claypot turtle soup and the fish maw soup. Overall quite good but a little overpriced. 😉
We passed this place and had to pick up their superb drink.

Popped by for dinner at this newly opened Tamoya Udon outlet with my partner and we had a very filling meal! This outlet is a bit more special in terms of Burpple Beyond deal redemption – you can easily do it via their QR code ordering and checkout page, and you don’t need to show to any staff for verification. You just need to redeem the deal > copy the generated voucher code > input in the voucher code field on the check out page > discount is applied! Very fuss-free and easy 👍🏼

Do take note that the Sanuki Beef Udon is pretty flavourful, however it is on the saltier side! The Carbonara Udon was a very delectable fusion of Western and Japanese. Not too jelat even after finishing everything 👍🏼 This deal is applicable to 1 main, 1 tempura side and 1 drink. My partner and I combined our orders into 1 transaction (2 mains, 2 tempura sides and 2 drinks) and redeeming 1 BB deal is sufficient to get the 20% discount. Pretty worth it!

I woke up early in the morning and leave my house at 7am, so I can come here to enjoy a bowl of kway teow mee soup before going for work.
They onsen early morning from 7am till afternoon time or sold out.
The stall has been running for many years since 1969 and no surprise to see they have garnered a loyal following all these years.
The uncle behind the stall constantly preparing bowl by bowl by himself, and you will be treated with delicious noodle for breakfast.
Bouncy noodle and tossed with all ingredients mixing together. The fishball is chewy and there’s my flavour liver slices with fishcake, minced & lean pork, braised mushroom and pig skin.
Available in both soup or dry version.
Star dish of the day. The meat was fall-off-the-bone.
