First time trying lobster rolls and this was awesome! The brioche was buttery as it should be, and the lobsters were as fresh as can be, a true testament to the sea. It was quite light on the tummy so maybe you might want to order twice 😏. Comes with fries (you can add a dollar to upgrade it to truffle fries). It was quite expensive ($36) but worth the price as the quality of the dish was impeccable. Squeeze the lemon to add a touch of acidity.

Ordered the beignet, which is basically a rectangular shaped buttery donut and their fried calamari. Beignet is served hot and best eaten that way, it's excellent (3 for $3)! The fried calamari ($9.90) was awesome (batter not too thick and oily, squid fresh and springy).

Overall a 5/5 experience and would come again. Also worth noting that the staff were polite and service was prompt.

Somehow I had no idea that a Thai food chain would sell a Japanese-inspired dessert but this turned out absolutely delicious. This set meal cost $13.80 and consisted of a huge, crispy slab of toast and a drink (we chose green thai milk tea with minimum sugar).

The toast was so visually impressive. Served slightly warm on a wooden paddle, it was drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce and a humongous scoop of bright white, creamy, coconut ice cream was balanced precariously on top. Chunks of fresh coconut flesh as well as coconut flakes were sprinkled around it. The toast itself was crunchy and golden brown on the outside but the inside was soft, savory and buttery. The bread absorbed the sweet sauces and coconut ice cream as it melted, forming an anchor for the different elements of the dish. Cuts had already been made in the toast so it could be torn apart easily.

It was the perfect sweet ending to a night out with a friend. Can't wait to come back and try the Thai Milk Tea version of this Shibuya Toast.

9/10

Most disappointing BITP experience ever. This is the first time patronising the Vivocity outlet as we were unable to call in and book for The Centrepoint outlet. Initially I thought Vivocity would be much better since it's newer and bigger (and tbh their deco and chairs are very pretty!). However the staff there are not as nice or efficient as those at Centrepoint outlet. It took ages for them to gave us what we want and it's difficult to even get their attention in the first place (maybe place too big lol). And it's funny how we are not even done but the waitress served us the dessert 😂 Are you trying to chase us away? And mind you it's lunch timing not dinner + not all the tables were full (so many empty seats). They took ages to even give us the bill or return back our credit card.

Ok idk why so many unpleasant things in this outlet but HDL you're my love now 💖 Wanted to stay BEAUTiful by eating BEAUTY in the pot but I guess that's not the case now. Anyway food tasted the same also.... at most I will go back Centrepoint outlet and not this lol.

One of the new items is Twi Gim Jjigae (tempura).

Every single component was dipped in batter then fried. Think the likes of tempura prawns, crabmeat sticks, tofu, mushrooms, sausage etc. The broth is a fiery red and boasting of a fiery finish. If you desire some of the elements to retain its crispyness, my advice is to put afew aside on a plate and leave the rest soaking up the goodness. For me, it was a nice pleasant heat with a hint of umaminess right at the tip of the tongue.
