Made it through this pre-CNY celebration weekend which is pure madness!

Still I managed to unplug and enjoy this dragon 🐉 petite yu sheng with my family.

❤️ it! ‘Cause of its sizable portion and great value. This stand-out yu sheng is notable for its beautifully, deep-fried jumbo prawn with a succulent crunchy bite and yuzu sauce which makes a perfect complement.

We also opted for the deep-fried jumbo prawn in sushi roll which is equally delicious! ❤️ the tantamount crunchy perfection rolled in sushi rice and topped with spicy mayonnaise and ebiko [a.k.a. shrimp roe].

Been wanting to find a good ramen place and I'm glad that Ramen Kiou hit the spot. We had their tonkutsu ramen and their gyoza and we were all very impressed!

The Deluxe Shoyu Tonkutsu Ramen ($15.20) was such a delight to enjoy. The soup itself was very rich and fatty, with complementary umami flavours coming from the pork bone broth and shoyu. All these were achieved without being too salty! The noodles were rather springy and the char siew was glorious. It was very tender, fatty and meaty all at the same time. I cleaned up the bowl without a single drop of soup left!

The Gyoza ($6.20) was decent, but the Mentai Mayo Gyoza I added ($3.70 with a drink) was even better. The mentaiko sauce has a lot of roe and was beautifully rich, complementing well with succulent gyoza meat.

A very comforting and delicious meal that I can't wait to have again!

Had the Curry Ramen with prawn ($16.90). Affordable with the fried prawn which is big and generous. Worth it

Who would have thought of having desserts @MonsterCurry.sg?

Recommended by my Dajie 大姐 @Grace.Teoi, we headed to Monster Curry for desserts straight after our steamboat dinner, as I was craving for some sweet treats. 😋

Cubes of sweet, crunchy toast and scoop of luxurious Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream accompanied with whipped cream, strawberries and blueberries was too tempting to resist. I ended up ordering 2 plates to satiate my cravings.

Thankful for the precious bonding time with my colleagues over food during the year-end holidays. 🫶🏻

($2.70) I bought original pricing as I didn't wanted to wait until the deal start. :") so I felt that the drink less milk but more coffee taste contain.

($1) (up : $2.70) I didn't expected that they releases canned version for drink but I didn't have no time to go their cafe at jurong area. But the drink was slightly milky and less coffee taste (not that strong). I wish that I got time to head to suzuki cafe 🫡

Ordered a teishoku meal, which came with the signature beef hamburg patty on a hot plate, topped with raclette cheese, a bowl of rice, tamago soup, pickles and salad, and paid an additional $7 for an extra beef patty. Firstly, the japanese rice was warm, fragrant and plump! The soup was egg drop soup containing some egg and sesame seeds, which was salty and a good complement. The pickles and salad were alright, definitely just a complement to the star of the show, that was the hamburg! The hamburg was super soft, juicy and flavourful, and thanks to the hot plate, the crust was charred, giving it additional flavour and crispiness. The raclette cheese was a perfect top up for the hamburg as the creamy and savory cheese was a perfect complement with the hamburg.

V worth it $7 for 2 beef aburi don. One of the yummy ones too.
