Staff told me Burpple was’nt ready at this outlet but still gave me the discount anw! Mentai chicken is nice. Pork belly meat is tough, taste like smoked duck. Lok lok broccoli is nice w the seasoning!

Excellent experience! food was good. moreover we want to commend the service from Ms Mary (waitress). Among the best we’ve ever seen - going out of the way to show joy and hospitality despite the busyness (have learnt all the staff there often skip their own lunch). 5 stars. [sorry we didn’t take a pic (didn’t know burpple requires it) so this is from the net - we ate the saba + salmon mentaiyaki on fri PM]

Curry was surprisingly light yet flavourful. Udon was al dente and cooked perfectly. Quite affordable at only $9, but portion is quite small.

Ordered an iced mint tea ($3.50) and it was quite average.

A warm bowl or ramen soup is perfect during rainy day. And if you just want something to warm yourself without having too full, I would recommend their tan-men. The ramen is served in chicken soup with vegetables.

Very simple yet very comforting. Generous vegetables provided as well.

Serving delicious rice bowls is what Kei Kaisendon does best! Every bowl is topped with a generous amount of fresh sashimi, toppings, and seasoning for an extra filling and super satisfying meal. The Bara Chirashi don can be ordered as part of the Burpple Beyond Set ($32.90++) which includes your choice of a main, two Gyozas, a soup, a salad, and either a hot or cold green tea.

From Marutama Ra-men
A comforting portion of mildy spicy Ramen with 7 ground ingredients (nuts & chilli) in chicken soup.
Squeeze the lemon into the ramen which create more interesting layers in taste, come try then know.
Highly recommended.

A rainy evening is a sign for ramen. It is chicken broth but still a solid bowl of ramen.

The flavour is lighter than most ramen that I had before but I still enjoyed it. It is served with some seaweed, spring onions, jammy ramen egg and Chashu. The broth is packed with chicken goodness and the noodles are thin but springy.

Overall, it is slurpworthy. There is no dinner crowd too on a Sunday night.

Very happy with my Kaisen Sashimi Don. The bowl is filled with flavourful and colourful fresh sashimi. Wasn’t very impressed with the additional top us with my main course. The salad abs miso soup are too salty.

Something unique.

Carrot and celery with chicken wrap.

Quite filling. Feels healthy

Despite hearing rave reviews for the prawn noodle, we didn’t manage to try it that day but instead what we have ordered include the Pencil Fries with Tom Yum Mayo ($3.90) and the stall’s signature SG Umami Pizza ($15.90). The former is a great complement with a pint of beer as the unusual pencil fries are dressed in a mildly spicy tom yum mayo while the latter is the winner of the evening. The 10-inch thin crusted pizza is made from scratch upon order and comes with a tomato base and topped with a secret umami sauce, sweet onions, Sakura ebi and a generous serving of bonito flakes that gave it the distinctive umami-ness. This is definitely fusion done right and with a lively environment surrounding it, you can easily gather a few friends, order a few pizzas and sides, and wash them down with some beer.

The entire canteen has been revamped into a hipster beer garden environment, perfect for the upcoming Oktoberfest festival and Ben currently owns two stalls there, one of it being @geonbae_loklok. Each of the lok lok skewer is priced at $1.50 with more premium items such as abalone and lobster at $8.80 each. The major differences in their lok lok, as compared to the rest out there, are that the skewers are coated in a gochujang sauce and they have unique Korean street food offerings such as tteokbokki and gimmari besides the usual pork belly, sausages, and mushrooms. You will also be given a Thai green chilli dipping sauce that gives a nice refreshing tang, which changes the flavour profile from each bite. To complement the lok lok, there is a Tiger Beer counter that sells beer by the bottle, pint or tower.
