yummy and affordable gyudon! i feel like dabaoing from this outlet tastes better than eating in, the rice always feels too dry when i eat in. got XM size this time but i’m not v convinced that there’s more meat than M size lol
This is one of the dishes for the value set lunch from 11am to 5pm which I ate today. The set comes with salad and free flow of drinks at the drink bar. The meal costs $8 nett and the baked tumeric rice is tasty. The chicken is also tender and the creamy garlic goes well with tumeric rice.
Generous portions of sashimis
Will definitely visit again
Very worth it with the burpple deal
we came when they were having a 50% off promotion for this dish so we got this for only $10.40! the pork katsu was quite tough but the prawn was v nice and juicy. both were v crispy too, but i would’ve been kinda disappointed w the dish bc of the pork if not for their sauce. it rly saved the entire dish and i don’t even know what kind of sauce it was but i took a picture for reference HAHAHA
would not pay full price for this but i think w the promo still q worth la
($4.90) I saw it a couple of times selling at don don donki but then I don't wanted to buy it on original pricing. I saw the discount and just grab it one packet for snack. The taste is like in between bitter and sweet.
($4.50) I think provence bakery & cafe rent mini space at don don donki for selling bakery goods such as mini flavour crossiant and toast. Matcha Loaf was quite soft, chewy texture and taste quite (in between bitter and sweet) weird tbh.
Not the best pancake or souffle pancake I ever had. But it’s convenient and good for a quick fix. The smiley staff yi xing always provides great service!
Many kinds of foods could be chosen. The restaurant is clean and the ingredients are relatively fresh. Nice
have been wanting to try this place for a while now & finally went down to try today. was initially put off as it was a bar-type of place so i didn't know if it would really be good.
however!!!! i was so pleasantly surprised. first the staff were so attentive & helpful! and the star of the night for real. this bowl was $29.90 & each type of sashimi had FIVE SLICES (as opposed to 3-4 from most places). the sashimi was tasty although defo not like omakase/jap restaurants type of level but rly rly enjoyable! they had tuna, salmon, swordfish, scallop, octopus and tamago. my only feedback is that the wasabi could have been less artificial.
there was no ++ and after 1 for 1, we only paid $29.90 for TWO big bowls! 🙌🏻
ps: there's happy hour promos every single day w some days being soju night & housepour spirits night (1 for 1 too). had a look at their christmas cocktail menu which looked q yummy too! would defo be back to try their drinks on a non-weeknight 😉
Exceptional value with burpple 1- for -1! Their dons leans slightly towards sweet tastebuds though. Good place to zone out with a drink

So they use their signature bread for the sandwich. It's really quite unique, it's got some heft and works well in a thicker sandwich, and it has some bite as well. Almost has a cake like bounce, but seeing how it comes in their sandwich I'm not motivated to buy a full stack
Mango today was v sour, this wasn't good at all
