CJ HK Kitchen is the leader in mid-level Chinese dining in Singapore. It also works hard at regularly adding items to the menu, sometimes branching out of Cantonese cuisine. We have been going to CK (especially the HK Kitchen brand) almost every month since 1993.

Long list of high-quality ingredients, good condiments, and most importantly superb friendly and pro-active service make Haidilao a winning formula. Given the manpower shortage in the F&B sector, how do they attract, train and retain great staff?

Noodles with Shrimp in Thick Soup 虾仁煨面 (S$22++)

Super thin noodle

Steamed Shanghai Pork Dumpling 上海小笼包 (S$16.80++/ 6 pieces)
Super thin skin and packed with lots of broth in it.

Crispy Sesame Pastry Stuffed with Stir-Fried Minced Pork 叉子肉末 (S$32++/ 6 pieces)

Stewed Pork Served with Steamed Buns 稻草肉荷叶饼 (S$57++/ 6 pieces)

Century Egg with Beancurd in Homemade Sauce 皮蛋拌豆腐 (S$16++)

Marinated Jelly Fish Head 湛江海蜇花 (S$24++)
Very addictive crunchy texture. One plate no enough.

From now till 4 May, Orchard Hotel is running it’s Flaming Feast: Prime "Meats" Seafood BBQ Buffet.

This buffet is a dream come true for meat and seafood lovers. From juicy, US grain-fed prime rib to smoky BBQ brisket and fall-off-the-bone pork ribs. Don’t miss the slow-roasted Kurobuta pork shoulder—rich, tender, and full of flavor.

Seafood fans, you’re in for a treat too. There’s baked whole salmon with béarnaise, sashimi galore (think Hokkaido tako, Norwegian salmon, and yellowfin tuna), and dinner-exclusive US oysters Bienville. Swing by on Friday or Saturday for Boston lobster and snow crab.

At the charcoal grill, it’s a meat lover’s playground - New Orleans BBQ prawns, beef sirloin, lamb chops, pork belly, gourmet sausages.

Go with an empty stomach as you’ll want to try everything!
