Found this stall at this coffee shop that sell decent dung gui herbal roasted duck, which tasted succulent with herbs.

I wouldn’t recommend this dish. It was not flavoursome and wasn’t cooked well with no evidence of any “grill”. You can definitely have better beef elsewhere. Presentation was amazing though.

Summary, fried cauliflower that taste like Gu Lo Yoke.

($14) I didn't reheat it hence it was quite hart texture tbh and didn't aware that it was dessert sando lol. everthing that they have put inside sando was quite fresh made tbh especially pistachio was quite strong nutty taste, hard and crunchy texture tbh. Matcha taste so good tbh (got mild taste between bitter and sweet). I did preorder via cococart for self collection instead of delivery. I felt that it was too much carbs and sweet for me so it's good for sharing with people.

($13) hmmm I did enjoy sweet sando but everthing that they have put inside sando was quite fresh made tbh especially mochi was quite soft and chewy tbh. Matcha taste so good tbh (got mild taste between bitter and sweet). I did preorder via cococart for self collection instead of delivery. I felt that it was too much carbs and sweet for me so it's good for sharing with people. It really is a need to reheat the bagel for reducing hardness especially putting inside fridge and preheat ard 150°C and 5 mins for timer.

($6.50) I realised that malaysia and singapore cafe some of them used niko neko powder that I finally taste it out since they come over to sg cafe for using their powder before. But the taste for matcha latte was slightly bitter and not that sweet (as I opt out for less sugar).

($3.50) I felt that it was quite crunchy and crispy texture but then it was a bit bland seasoning tbh.

($12.90) it's well toasted bread and the tonkatsu sauce was quite thick to complement with toasted bread. The ingredients for pork katsu sando was quite enough tbh and also I didn't like tomato on the sando. The pork katsu was quite crispy and crunchy as it's got a bit of batter and fat inside.

This was a dollar more expensive than the birria, but I’d get this any day over the latter. Though not the kind of cheesy goodness you’ll get with a birria taco, this was refreshing and delightful. The Argentinian garlic prawns was grilled to perfection to give that slight Smokey flavour, not withstanding them being huge and fresh. The combination of Thai mango salad and cilantro gave an appetising boost to every bite. The chipotle mayonnaise added that slight creaminess and light spice to it, and they all the elements added up together very well. That being said, it’s more worth it at Lavi Taco’s if you use the burpple deal since it guarantees you some discount, though it also presents some limitations in flavours - such as not being able to go for this dish, and timings that you can eat there.

For 2 pieces and pretty little stew by the side my first thought was how unaffordable it was. The masala lamb deep fried taco was not as oily as I’d expected, but the gaminess of the lamb was much more overpowering, to the point the masala felt like a little tingle. In fact, when you dip the taco into the birria, it’s unlikely that you’d get much masala flavour. Cheesy with a decent amount of meat, but, I would go for the other tacos instead.

From now till 30 April, Bird Bird is having a limited-time only pop-up at Homeground offering both a lunch and dinner menu. We went for lunch and were wowed by the Crispy Chicken Sandwich which comes with a humongous battered chicken thigh sandwiched between seeded buns and green papaya slaw with a slather of coriander mayo. The Khao Soi did bring us back to our Chiang Mai holiday but wished the curry broth was slightly spicier. It came with a huge duck leg that was cooked perfectly as there was minimal gaminess and the meat was fork tender.
