Finally tried @apartmentcoffee and I loved both the coffee and vibes at this chill cafe!

I had a simple Iced Latte ($6.50) which had strong aromatic notes and it was abit fruity even. Just the right amount of milk, this was an enjoyable cup! The ceramic cup given was also really pretty.

I like how they have a good number of art pieces around that added to the chill vibes they provided! Really does make you feel relaxed.

This is quite a popular cafe, so do note that they limit dining time to about an hour! This is still good for a short chill conversation with your loved ones, or short pause from your daily activities.

Will be back when I'm around in the area!

Went to Warm Up Cafe and ordered a Basil Pork Rice, Pad Thai, Garlic Pork Rice, Boat Noodles (Small), Clear Tomyum Soup, Green Milk Teas, and Thai Milk Tea ($66.90 after gst and svc charge)!😇 Overall ratings 7/10! Mains was decent, but Green Milk Tea was a bit too sweet, and the Boat Noodles soup base was a bit too strong🥲 Might head back again to try other mains next time tho😁

Enjoy best of both worlds with this restaurant serving local chicken rice and comforting steamboat. We enjoyed a decently priced and delicious set meal for 4-5pax comprising steamboat, 1/2 chicken, and 1 side.

The chicken rice was fluffy and fragrant without being oily. Both steamed and roasted chicken were executed well and tender, in spite of being mostly breast meat which tends to be drier/ tougher.

One can choose among 3 soups and we selected the herbal chicken. Includes assorted vegetables and seafood, with the standouts being the juicy mussels, QQ squid, and succulent pork slices.

Saw it on food directory, so I went ahead to try but the taste was so so. Abit overrated

Its also a perfect place for a simple cuppa coffee which comes with mini madeleines on the side ☕️

They also have a changing menu of fresh bakes 🥐 mainly classic french pastries done well 💯

❤️A Sweet Valentine Day!❤️ Sharing this Seasonal Special “春” Chun 🍓 ($12.50) from @nickel.sg ( moved from @lees_confectionery )

Made with fresh strawberries, touch of ginger torch flower, it’s too pretty to eat! Absolutely love the refreshing yet sour sweetness in the main strawberry cake with their own house made strawberry torch flower gelato 👅

(Hot - $7.50 + Oat Milk - $0.50)) based on my memories (tastebub), I got citrus with berries and molasses. But their chocolate was not bad even though I opt out for oat milk because sis needChocolate - Uganda Kisinga to eat buffet lol. I preferred to drink something hot before the buffet to calm my nerves first. I did enjoyed their cafe environment to be cosy and minimalist style.

Not bad. But I always seem to cut myself when I bite into prawn heads. Please be careful.

For some reason, Sim Lim Square is known for Salted Egg Chicken Rice! There are two stalls selling similar things there!

We decided to try the salted egg chicken rice at 3 Meals a Day! They actually have a variety of chicken meat with rice series to choose from, but their most popular item is the salted egg chicken rice! ($5.90 + $0.6 for sunny side up egg)! Visited on a weekday dinner timing and it was soo crowded! Food took awhile to be served!

Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and drenched all over with the creamy salted egg yolk sauce! The rice dish is served with a few keropok too!

We also tried the butter chicken rice! But between the two, I prefer the salted egg version!

Affordable and good!

Her best one yet, Catkin by Huishan’s latest experience ($45) was so good. To start, we had the ‘Strawberries & Cream’ which came with no actual berries or yoghurt. Embellished with fresh pomegranate and chia seeds, the refreshingly tangy number was a fun Pomegranate & Soursop Gelato which really mimics the flavours of the namesake dessert.

Next, the 2 Mignardise were the ‘花生麦芽糖’ (Peanut Candy Macaron) and Pâte de Fruit wrapped in edible plastic. The crunchy French cookie, inspired by Penang’s Ang Seng Heong signature snack, had that malty and caramelised fragrance both from the shell as well as the praline. Lovely. Whilst the bite-sized chewy gummy comprised of strawberry and shiso, tasted just like grapefruit.

But of the two courses, the unanimous favourite has got to be her '豆漿油條' (Soy & Fritters). Think a deconstructed soy bean curd with soy gelato, soy foam, and layered on top is a silky sheet of soy skin, paired with fresh hot 'Donuts' on the side. With a delicate and distinct soy flavour, the plated dessert was light on the palate. Love love love the soft airy warm cheese dough fritters - salty-sweet with a tinge of pepper.
