From the Burpple community

We ordered mango passion lime and le mmm. As usual, cakes were good and with burpple deals, a cake set will likely cost less than $10/pax.

This small teeny purplish dome made of all-things valrhona is every little girl’s dream. Enclosed within: Orelys cream mouse with blueberry cassis confit- legit blueberry + blackcurrant, not some gross blueberry jam that you get from birthday cakes found in most neighbourhood bakeries. It sits on top of a nice, round valrhona dark chocolate ‘cookie-cake’ base, topped with a cassis ganached macaron. It makes a rather awesome post-meal dessert.

Fun fact: Orelys is a kind of chocolate - rich with Mauritian dark muscovado sugar

“WOW! Can you taste the azuki?!” - that’s my exclamation when I first had a bite. The matcha was outstanding (expected) but when most “matcha azuki” pastries tastes of solely matcha and either missing the azuki (or sidelined by the overpowering matcha), Nesuto’s rendition sets the benchmark of a well-balanced matcha + azuki cake!

I really love their cakes, I have been to this store for more than 5 times already.

Beautiful interior, nice lighting too!

I have no negative vibe about this store except they limit refill of water to the tea cup to once only. Why like that.. I’m thirsty

Opted for the Yuzu raspberry & Le’ Chocolat. It was really good, $9/ pc for the cake. Yuzu raspberry had a tinge of sourness, providing a different flavour profile among the sweetness. Le’ Chocolat provides quality chocolate flavours. Will come back to visit again! (< $20 for total bill)

Like an exquisite toyshop for kids, this place is the absolute playground for dessert lovers like myself. Finally decided on the Le Mmm (dark choc cake) & Orelys Cassis (looked blueberry flavoured but the mousse turned out to be this delish nutty flavour that went well with choc cookie base). Preferred the latter bcos it tastes as exotic as it sounds. The lychee oolong & melon teas delivered too. Amazing place la 😍
