To be honest, this is one of the nicest pastries I have encountered in a while!
I’m a big pastry fan but this time, this one by Nesuto is exceptional and I’ll say it’s a must try from their pastry case!
I’ve been told by the staff that Ispahan is the sweetest amongst their other flavors but I think the sweetness is just perfect, it’s a dessert after all so I believe it needs to be just perfectly sweet, and this one is indeed PERFECTLY sweet.
The components of this pastry all played a part in creating a beautiful overall taste and texture. Starting from the very nicely fragrant rose bavaroise mousse, tangy raspberry gelee, sweeter lychee gelee, vanilla chiffon, and finally their Brown sugar sable which I think is one of the BEST tart bases I’ve tried. If you try it, you’ll notice how the base is NICE, sort of stands out too!
Okay again, this is RECOMMENDED!

The cakes were really tasty, although we preferred the Tiramisu over the matcha cake. Really worth it with Burpple Beyond. Loved the decor and calming ambience as well, would come back! 😍

All the cakes are not only aesthetically pleasing, but really unique in taste and texture. The 1-1 burpple makes it worth it, however I would be hesitant to pay the full price for the cakes + tea

love the black sesame cake ($9) and the dark chocolate cake ($9)!!! definitely coming back for more 😎

Teas ☕️: Milk Oolong + non caffeinated tea which I can’t rmb the name oops
Cakes 🍰: Yuzu raspberry cake + Ms Ispahan (for full review, refer to my list of cakes collection!

A great option for tea-time! Loving how their teas were exceptionally unique - nothing like ordinary, plain Jane oolong/earl grey. It’s always earl grey + sth/ oolong + sth!

We managed to get the 2nd last piece off the shelves! Despite the seemingly thick layers of cream, this slice of cake is not anywhere near cloying. The cream layers were fairly light - the entire slice was simply too airy and light, pretty sure it'll topple sideways with a gust of strong wind. Not exaggerating cos my cake toppled sideways when i was only 50% through it! But phew, it fell within the plate and none went to waste! It's unsurprisingly one of Nesuto's signature, given how light, pretty and fragrant it is. Personally, i would have preferred for the taste to be more pronounced tho!
