As part of the CNY celebrations, Nesuto has launched a new Abundance High Tea Set that’s paired with a pot of hot tea of your choice (refillable once)! Nesuto’s somewhere one would remember to go for the sweets, but this time, they’ve also focused on strengthening their savouries and featured a pretty good mix of both.

The sweets in this high tea set are: Chocolate Banana Tart, Peach Cream Cake, Cranberry Orange Butter Cake, White Chocolate & Mango Dome as well as Candied Orange Scones. Savouries wise, they have Roasted Chicken Croissant, Sambal Ikan Kueh Pie Tee, Chicken Floss Basket and Chicken Bak Kwa Quiche.

Hits and misses here, our favs were the White Chocolate & Mango Dome, Roasted Chicken Croissant and Sambal Ikan Kueh Pie Tee + the refreshing Pineapple with Lime Compote that came with the scones! Felt it was quite pricey overall though.

Thank you @dear.nesuto & @theduckeats for having us! ✨

The cakes here are great! Always love the yuzu strawberry cake and the black sesame cake. I’d like for the matcha cake to be even richer and stronger but then again it’s already very good (especially love the azuki red beans within). Also one really off-putting thing is that they don’t provide water, not even tap water! After eating cakes usually most people would want to cleanse their palates and get rid of the sweet flavours/heaty feeling so it would really be great if you guys could provide some water.

Had their Foret Noire ($9.90). I really like their dark choc together with their brandy infused cherry in it.
