If you're looking for a dessert after your meal here, you'll find it where you least expected it - the pizza section. And it's such a refreshing change from the typical Korean desserts that has dominated our dining scene here.

This pizza has sweet potato puree on baked tortilla wraps, served warm. It'll be a lovely contrast in temperature as you dip it into the cold soft whipped cream. Surprisingly light and addictive.

ordered champpong with the level 2 spice level. there was enough PUNCH in the flavours and the spice. There is this charred taste to it that adds more depth to the soup!!! Ro Ppong Roje is a tomato cream base ppong topped with mozzarella cheese. Tasted more like a pasta dish (the red and white sauce) more than a ppong, but flavours were on point!!

Got to say, I’m not a fan of yellow noodles so what I tried didn’t really appeal to me as the yellow noodle taste was really strong....BUT I FREAKING LOVE THEIR THIN-CRUSTED PIZZA 😍

Look at that pool of shredded mozzarella cheese, made me oomph literally! The Ro ppong-roje wasn't my first choice because I am not a cream-based pasta person. But this is really the first that changed my opinion on that.

I really have to agree that it's the heartiest ppong at Nipong Naepong, not just for its portion, but how magically the blend of tomato and cream sauces turned out, as though I was having a lobster bisque. The tanginess of the tomato sauce and tomato chunks was really pleasing. The highlight was when the mozzarella cheese melted as it was mixed into the pasta sauces, where it gets pulled along with the pasta. I liked how they added 2 slices of the crisp tortilla base, used for their pizzas, on top of the pasta. Dipping that in the sauces gives a good judgement of the sauce flavours.

Also a seafood pasta, where there's a generous lot of mussels and squids. The flying fish roe adds on to the umami seafood flavour, as well as a bursting texture amidst the creaminess. Surprisingly, I didn't find it jelak till the end!

I had some difficulty deciding on which ppong because they all looked so enticing! Eventually decided on one of the top sellers, vongole ppong. Vongole is a pretty much safe choice for a seafood lover like me, especially in pastas.

Although stated as mild spicy, the heat gets burning gradually. I would say, it's actually quite spicy, because of those dried chilies. But the clear broth with white wine was addictive, very umami and strong seafood flavour. You will understand why when you see the amount of mussels and bring clams inside. The garlic fried till golden brown, leek, onions and cabbage play a part in contributing to the fragrance and sweetness of the soup. The chewy noodles, quite a reasonable portion for the price, and reminded me of that used for jjajang myeon. What could have been better, was probably to have a stronger white wine flavour.

Fizzy grapefruit ade 500ml at $7.20. Serves in a cute little jar, comes with grapefruit slices. Menu stated that this is for 2 pax but it only fill just half of 2 empty cups 🤔

Tomoto based cream sauce topped with fish roe and shredded mozzarella cheese. Since the noodle is serve hot, the cheese does melt after stirring together with the noodles. Serves with 2 slices of thin tortilla wrap. Similar to those cabonara, it gets quite “jelak” towards the end. Had this with burpple 1 for 1 promotion, valid till the end of this month so do try it out soon!

Vongole ppong is a fusion of korean noodle and western cooking-style of vongole. Serves in a large bowl with white wine broth, shell seafood and chunks of garlic. The spiciness of the dried chili gives a strong kick that not many can handle, i almost gave my white flag here. The noodle was springy and chewy with a really large portion that i can’t finish.

Had the cha ppong Lv1 spiciness, tae ppong and spinach pizza.. have to say the noodles were really awesome with good spice levels. Both dishes had the char taste, especially in the soup which added to the awesomeness.. could totally see the char on the prawns too. The pizzas were alright, not too nice when it cools so dig into the pizza the moment it arrives!
highly recommended for good Korean fusion food.

Soft doughy pizza base with cream cheese, tomato, spinach and a generous sprinkling of parmesan cheese.

The queue was long and they took a while to serve our meal but ALL THE WAITING WAS WORTH IT. The pizza was a total indulgence, the spinach, cherry tomato and cream cheese made a perfect and refreshing combination. Tried the Cha Ppong and Il Ppong too(sorry I can only post 1 photo here though) and they were delicious too, though the Cha Ppong was a bit too spicy even though we chose level 1 for the spiciness. But it was such a satisfying lunch, the portion was big and they were generous with the ingredients. I’m definitely coming back!:)

Using similar complements (clams, squid), this dish boast a richer taste. The base tasted more milky than the usual carbonara that we’re accustomed to, while striking a balance on not being overly heavy in taste. Along with a hefty serving of its signature the chewy noodles, it definitely fills one up.

With more than 70 outlets in Korea, this restaurant serves hearty dishes that seemed like a fusion of Korean and Italian cuisine. This dish is used tomato purée, along with shredded mozzarella on the surface. However, after mixing them, the cheese wasn’t distinct IMO. But overall its still a decent dish.
