So Simple Yet Packed With Flavours.
I’ve tried almost every ppong they have & THEY ARE ALL AMAZING. Decided to try something different & got the beef risotto. BAM WOW. I couldn’t be more impressed?? The WOK HEI was intense & mind blowing. And the beef?? Just. Perfect.
Other Must Try Dishes: Lychee Yogurt & Pizza
This doesn’t taste like very strongly like garlic, or white wine, or anything in particular. Personally, I didn’t like it that much. The clams were fresh and chewy though. Noodles were wonderfully springy and the vegetables (onions and cabbage) were plentiful.
Stir fried seafood pasta tossed in an umami sweet and spicy sauce. This dish really has a kick to it as it got my nose running. We enjoyed the springiness of the jjoimyeon and the ingredients it was loaded with! Will be back to try their other dishes for sure!
First time trying their mala ppong and I really love it!! Mala lovers would enjoy this! The soup really has the mala taste and there’s really a kick, and not suitable for people who can’t take spicy food because you can’t choose the spice level for this. As usual, the noodles at nipong naepong can never go wrong, very chewy and yummy. Would order this again!! Bad thing is that there is always a long queue and we waited for around an hour to get a seat on an ordinary weekday, so be prepared to wait!
Good to know that Nipong Naepong, the first fusion jjamppong specialty restaurant with 2 outlets (JEM & 313 Somersest) in Singapore is available for island wide delivery!

That is because Valentine’s Day is celebrated on February 14 (when women buy men gifts); while White Day is celebrated on March 14 (the men will reciprocate). And for singles who did not get any presents or love those two days, they will ‘celebrate’ by wearing black and eating black Jajangmyeon to drown their sorrows.
Jajangmyeon 자장면 is a delicious Korean noodle dish topped with a thick sauce made of chujang (black bean sauce), diced pork, and vegetables, with origins from the Chinese’s Zha Jiang Mian.
Don’t be sad, okay?
Here are some Korean restaurants in Singapore which serve up black Jajangmyeon, some are offering islandwide delivery:
