Nosignboard Sheng Jian

This is probably why other places don't try something like this. Because saliva chicken is quite sharp and choking, it's not wise to pair with something that requires slurping. With that said, the chicken and noodles were both good, and I enjoyed it. Just that too oily.

Interesting concept. Although 生煎包 probably can't work as a centrepiece, it's still a delicious food. This brand lives up to its signboard (lol) with top-notch buns. Flavourful, juicy and crunchy. The spiciness of the chilli crab variety surprised me, but its premium filling is worth mentioning.

Shanghai Pork & Vegetable Dumpling in Soup ($6.80)

The soup broth was not bad tbh but the dough for dumpling was really thick on the base.

Xiao Long Bao (4 for $5.50)

Sheng Jian Bao (3 for $5.50)

It's quite similar to xiao long bao which it's contained with soup inside the bao. I almost injured my tongue with hot soup. The soup flavour was not bad tbh but the dough was really thick on the base.

Pork chop was a little too hard when I last tried it (too much bones and too little meat).
Used to be self collection without ++ but now there’s GST charge.
