Intricately crafted dessert! But let’s say I’m not used to the overall taste of it as it. Below the sago coconut rice was mostly biscuits.

It looks like an entree, except it’s not. Finally made my way to Non Entree, the home of trippy desserts in Singapore. The Nasi Lemak looks quirky in plating but does a pretty good job of sticking to its local roots flavour wise.

Layered dark chocolate mousse, XO Cream Filling, Durian-infused chantilly, Almond-flavoured spongecake. A pretty well-made dessert aesthetically, looking pretty much like a mini-version of the king of fruits. While the durian-infused chantilly and XO cream helps to provide that pungent flavour with a slight hint of bitterness that carried a light alcoholic touch, the chocolate elements felt like a distraction away from the durian — a little too complex in flavour profile, and probably just now “durian” enough for the average durian lover considering it would probably fare a lot better with just fibrous durian mousse within. Still, one could probably try the four other variants of durian-inspired creations here; all four bearing the same looks with different flavour profiles that seem to suit different palates.
