I’m a sucker for both pastries and dessert, so when this stacked baby arrived on my table, I couldn’t stop myself from drooling 🤤 The filo pastry was crumbly and flaky, sandwiching a very sweet and deliciously dense middle layer of walnuts and almonds! However, I didn’t really like the syrup which saturated the base of the baklava: it overwhelmed the other layers with a strong punch of cinnamon and cloves, which became rather sickening after a while. Nevertheless, I understand that the mastermind behind it all is still tweaking the recipe, so I’m looking forward to when it’ll be as good as the ones I had in Turkey! 😋

The inside of this wrap is SLATHERED with a thick layer of hummus that is rich in spices, lending much flavour to the slightly dry chicken 😂 On the bright side, this whole wrap feels refreshingly healthy and ended up being really filling!

Bursting with flavour, each bite - packed with risotto grains and mushrooms - was dense and creamy, loaded with both the aroma and taste of truffle oil 😍 Though I would’ve liked a thicker and cheesier texture, I’d still consider this dish pretty decent!

Contrary to its flat and unconventional appearance, this slice of pie is in actual fact rather filling! Between two thin yet buttery and flaky layers of filo pastry, the filling is largely dominated by generous chunks of roasted chicken, interspersed by little bits of onion. Other filling options are also offered at the same price, such as spinach, feta cheese (which was recommended by the suave man-behind-the-counter😉) etc. As a self-proclaimed pastry lover, I’ll definitely be back to sample the wide spread here!

The highlight is
the Mushroom Rissoto that is cooked al dente and boast of aromatic white truffle oil alongside Greek gruyere and chives.
Another of my favourite is the Olive & Feta Vegetarian Ciabatta which is ciabatta bread paired with tomato, feta cheese, kalameta olives and oregano

The Dutch Coffee Concentrate makes a fantastic gift option as it is packaged into the form of a wine bottle and can prepare up to 10 to 15 cups of coffee.
