Enjoy dining without burning a hole in your pocket, no membership required
Wanted to try this ever since I saw it on DanielFoodDiary and luckily I have obliging friends! We tried this Cloudy Alaska Flambé ($19.80) which is basically baked Alaska surrounded by cotton candy (you can choose the colour). The ice-cream went pretty well with the meringue but we didn’t really like the alcohol they poured over - there was a bit too much and it was really bitter.
Portion-wise, this is enough for two. My friend and I shared it before dinner and we felt pretty full when we were done! I think I wouldn’t be able to finish it if I was alone.
Unfortunately water isn’t served, but I would advise buying a bottle of water if you order dish because it’s very sweet and rich.
Of course, maybe it’s because it’s blue.
