Don't be put off by the menu's description of canned sardines, because they are nothing like the ones you find back home in Southeast Asia. Meaty yet tender, the oily slivers of fish were packed with flavour and complemented by the sweetness of the peppers as well as the herbaceousness of coriander.

More a pile of succulent, olive oil drenched octopus than a salad of any sort(the roasted peach on the side doesn’t count). Not that we objected.
