The cake is primarily green tea flavoured. Its pretty floral in taste but strong enough to satisfy matcha lovers. The blancmange pudding is also really nice and soft with a melt in the mouth consistency. The red bean element of the cake is just a few pieces of whole red beans speckled inside. I think id like if the red beans were mushed and spreaded inside the roll cake for a better dispersion.

Im a shameless hoe for black sesame... i cant believe how much other sg foodies have influenced my tastebuds because while i previously could give two shits about black sesame, now whenever I see it on a menu, my heart instantly does two flips.
For the uninitiated, blancmange is a kind of European milk pudding and lemme just say that this is one of the most fabulous puddings I've had. Its thick and dense, yet it still melts in the mouth and has the most sublime, smooth texture. I can taste the nuttiness of the black sesame, though I do wish it were stronger.
The cake also has a light black sesame taste, its really soft and fluffy and premiummmm
People who put pudding in cakes are geniuses. This is a bomb ass cake, would be much bomber if the bssm was stronger again but still fantastic 👌
