I really love the sweet-spicy marinade and sauce of the pork belly burnt ends, and each cube of meat was barbecued to charry perfection. The fat really melts in your mouth and is such an indulgent treat! I also really enjoyed the surprising tanginess of the curried coleslaw, and appreciated the innovative spin on a classic western side-dish. The only slightly disappointing part of the meal was the garlic butter rice, which I found a bit too mushy for my liking. It could also have done with a stronger garlic flavour! Nevertheless, overall I am still very satisfied with my experience here and would love to try their full meat platter next time. 🀭

N-squared food is good but I have never met a more terrible representative of an F&B business the the guy who was serving my group at N-squared. This is a true story. We were trying to redeem two 1-1 deals through an app and we did so successfully for one deal, but were having problems redeeming the other deal. The guy taking our order began to sarcastically tell us that we should have all our things in order before even queueing up (which is true). We then left the queue to let others order so we can sort it out and he repeated for a second time even after we left the queue that we should have our things in order before ordering because we're "making his customers walk away". We just ignored it and continued to try and deal with the app (still away from the queue) and he then he said it a THIRD time that we shouldn't be chasing away his customers by taking so long to order. We then proceeded to leave and as we were trailing off he rambled off expletives and saying that we cost him customers... again.

If I'm not wrong, this guy is one of the business owners (not just service staff) so it's really shocking to see a small business owner treat his own personal brand like this.

(This isn't my photo btw we were too upset to take a photo of the food)

1-for-1 BBQ Set (S$12.90) using voucher in @shopbackgo app at @nsquaredbbq
Choice for main : half rack pork rib, served with sambal matah
Choice for side : honey balsamic romaine
Choice for carbs : creamy garlic mashed potato

Interesting sauce accompanied the meat, which reminded one of chincalok which usually accompanied grilled stingray.

Thai inspired Barbeque Pork Ribs; Half-rack ($9.90)
Fall-off-the-bone tender meat; You can break it apart using a fork
The Thai glaze was what you would expect - Sweet, Slightly tangy and just a tad bit spicy
This tastes exactly how you think it would. I have tried Morganfield's ribs before (Both the fattier spare ribs and leaner more tender baby back ribs), and felt that the cut used was somewhere in-between which was great as there was a nice balance of fat and meat. Didn't think there was anything wrong with the meat but you should definitely order some sides to complement the meat or it may get too rich after awhile.
Price: 9/10 (Restaurant quality meat at half its price)
Taste: 9/10 (Didn't think there was anything wrong with the dish)
Overall: 9/10

Smoked Sausages, Pork Belly Burnt Ends, Chicken Wings and Veggie Shashlik.

The Pork Belly. Smokey, savoury, slight hint of sweetness. Tender meat with melt in the mouth fats. What is there not to love?! #barbecue
