My favourite hangout, got to taste the new apple crumble flavour, every now & then they will come out different flavours ๐Ÿง for occasions...

It was the cheapest bingsu on the menu.

Dollops of sweet red bean, sprinkled with sweet warabi powder, accentuating the sweetness of the dessert. But sweet on sweet may actually be a wonderful combination, if itโ€™s not jelak.

The milky bingsu was delightful to eat, melting once it comes in contact with your tongue. I really enjoyed it, and I actually finished it on my own!

Cheesecake Bingsu - $14.90
Bingsu is a very popular Korean dessert that consists of shaved ice with sweet toppings that may include fruits such as berries and bananas, jelly bits, cereal flakes condensed milk, fruit syrup and biscuits.

Location:
9 Yuk Tong Ave
Singapore 596314

Perfect on a warm humid night as dessert.

Ingeolmi are Korean glutinous rice cakes (Tteoks). They can have a variety of toppings (gomul). In this case, this ingeolmi bingsu is topped with dried soybean powder and sliced almonds :)

Thereโ€™s just something child-like about dipping your spoon into this bowl of finely shaved ice that is sweetened with condensed milk, and then ending the dessert with soybean powder on your lips!

This Injeolmi bingsu from Nun Song Yee used to be our staple. Recent 2 visits, however, have disappointed us with its significant drop in portion and standard. The bowl of bingsu was almost flat when served.

S$18.9 premium. Too much for 2 adult. Everyone recommended this from reviews. I don't think it worth the damage.

So glad there's a 24/7 dessert spot to satisfy hunger pangs any hour of any day.

Every bingsu that Nunsongyee serves is immaculately prepared. Each bowl has a hefty amount of ingredients yet it's not too filling, but more refreshing and satisfying. Choose from premium flavours such as my favourite Green Tea Bingsu to the light fluffy Snow White Bingsu.

The one at Nunsongyee ($14.90) does not disappoint, soft pillowlly ice juxtaposed with the powder and the rice cakes made a wonderful refreshing dessert on a hot afternoon. The service staff were also friendly and they were very eager to help๐Ÿ˜

This is part of their premium bingsu collection. I've been here many times and is it just me or does paying almost $20 for shaved ice seem rather expensive? ๐Ÿ˜‚ Unfortunately this is the only 24hour dessert place in the vicinity so shut up and take my money ๐Ÿ’ฐ

Decided to break away from my standard order of injeolmi bingsu and went with the smoky nutty flavour of the Snowflake Black Sesame bingsu. It was very nice - finely shaved milky ice, generous blob of red bean paste, lots of toasted almond slices and mochi pieces.

I think the injeolmi is still my fave but I would defo have this again. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

As good as always, just that the condensed milk was kind of more diluted than before.

Love the generous ingredients given in these bingsoo which made it worth the price ($18.90 each)!
The black sesame and soybean powder used in the Black Sesame Bingsoo made it especially fragrant. Eating these bowls of bingsoo never gets monotonous, as it's accompanied by crunchy sliced almonds and chewy injeolmi.
Those who want to eat more healthily can skip the milk sauce as the red bean paste provides sufficient sweetness!

I'm not really a fan of complicated bingsus and favour the traditional flavours more. We went with the injeolmi bingsu from the snowflake range. A bowl includes a big mound of finely shaved milk ice, topped with soy powder and sliced almonds. Injeolmi is Korean muah chee - of the tteok(bokki) family - and is buried in and around the bingsu for a QQ surprise with every mouthful. This made for such a refreshing treat on a humid evening.

Aside from serving high quality bingsus, Nunsongyee is open 24 hours a day (woo supper!). I'll be defo be back!

My search for great bingsu in Singapore ended with Nunsongyee which I thought were pretty authentic compared with the ones in Korea.

This green tea bingsu could be my favorite flavour here, besides the black sesame. Besides the super soft and fine ice which I absolutely love, this also came with crunchy almonds, azuki red bean paste, green tea ice cream and matcha pour that all worked well together. Perhaps the ice cream could be more matcha-y.

This place met my prerequisite for a good bingsu is the ice - has to be soft and super fine, and has to be even lighter than Taiwan's snow ice. Definitely my go-to place, especially being conveniently located at Beauty World MRT at Bukit Timah.

The only bingsu place that I have visited for more than 10 times. Thanks to its perfect location, just next to our favourite 'KFC' place! Times we will just walk across the road after having Oven&Fried chicken to cool our tummies down. The bingsu here serves in big portion with generous dose of ingredients. Feeling adventurous today to switch from our usual Injeolmi to this premium coffee bingsu! The bitter taste espresso blended perfectly with the sweetness from vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. Needless to say, we will be back! (Strong wifi available)

The ground sesame is more a spread of fragrance to accentuate the huge, moderately sweet ball of pat.

Mountain of shaved milk ice with a peak of vanilla ice cream and slopes of chocolate powder. Some call this "atas ice kacang", but I don't discriminate โ€“ I'll eat them all, atas or not!
