From the Burpple community

The meal was such a worthy experience. Most things were communicated in mandarin. However, staff were reaply accomodating to questions and offered help. Mala beef bowl small ($7.90) was perfect with good amount of beef that was chewy yet soft, full portion of noodle. Though the beef pancake 6pcs ($7.90) looked underwhelming, when dipped with accompanying chilli sauce, it really complimented the meal! Will definitely repeat order during my next visit!

Note: Due to the restaurant's new policy, the staff insisted that I redeem two vouchers instead of 1 for the Beyond 1-for-1 deal.

This eatery is a self-service concept and I redeemed the Chicken Bean Paste noodle deal. Even though I was aware the size was indicated as large, the portions were still overwhelming. You are given a choice to opt from 5 noodle thickness—we chose option 2 (normal thickness) and the noodles were nice and chewy; chicken a bit too much on the salty side but the generous portions of cucumber helped curb it. Accompanying shredded potato salad was quite interesting, a combination of sour and spice.

All in all very affordable with the Burpple deal $14.40 but not sure if Lite members are able to redeem since you need 2 separate vouchers for this deal.

Read reviews that the portions are crazy and yeah, the portions are crazy huge 😳 They gave us the large sized bowls even though the burpple set states M. If you’re a small-normal eater, I suggest you bring more people to help you finish 😂 chose flat noodles, 1 spicy and 1 not spicy. For the spicy version, they just added some chilli flakes, I couldn’t really taste any difference. The beef balls (6) are also quite big and shiok, not your regular ntuc meat balls. The side dish complements the noodles cos the soup is light in flavour. lt’s kinda like mala and I rlly like the kick, was pretty addictive. The service was good too, nice people :)

Such. A. Humongous. Portion. Of. Food. I could hardly even finish half of it! I would recommend sharing this meal between 3-4 people (since with the 1-for-1 deal, you get two giant bowls). Even though the Beyond deal says “Reg” size, they give you Large bowls here.

Soup was more towards the clear and light side, instead of the strong tasting heavy beef soup, which is nice too. Beef balls were chewy and delicious. Potato salad was average. If you’re going for spicy, I would recommend asking them to place the chilli at the side, because they poured the chilli straight into my dish, which made the soup a little more oily. At least if the chilli is on the side, you could control the amounts.

You can choose the kind of noodles you want in your dish - we got the Leek ones in the picture above and Normal noodles for our other bowl.

This is super duper worth it if you’re talking about value for money. My gosh it was so much food you could honestly just come with four people and pay $3+ for one person. Service was nice too.

We got the 1for1 deals for the Chicken Bean Paste Noodle Large that comes with a side of potato salad(the taiwan kind). We also ordered the Beef Dumpling Soup and the dumpling we tried was the chicken mushroom one. I think the Chicken Bean Paste Noodle was nice but it was no joke when they said it was large cus it was really hugeee!! So i would think that 2 people can share a large bowl. I chose the flat noodle and i think it goes very well w the dish!! Would not recommend to get the thinnest noodle cus it would be even bigger a portion if u get wat i mean. Potato salad was nice a lit mala feels! Loved the beef soup taste ali like soto, but the dumpling was not a wow it was more like a meh

Look at the noodle portion, hugeeeeee portion. Tried their signature dish, and I personally think that it’s good. Worth it for the money paid for this set. Do expect long queue on weekends.
