Bread is chewy with bits of raisins and white chocolate. The amount of chocolate is just right that the bread isn't crazily sweet. But I think the earl grey taste could be stronger haha it is super super subtle almost non-existant if you don't eat it mindfully.:/

Brilliant colour on Mentaiko France Baguette $2.40, Triangle loaf of corn with olive $3.50.
Fluffy and tasty fresh bakes from the slightly hidden location.

Bought this because it looks special, but nothing unique about this really. It contains zero fillings and there was no distinct taste from it. Can't quite put my finger on what I'm eating (plain bread with walnuts/almonds maybe?). Its pillowy texture will warrant a pass from me, but I will skip on this the next time I visit the bakery.

Think a pillowy bun, coupled with the wonderful aroma of herbs, and sprinkled with a little cheese on top- this bun was surprisingly reminiscent of a pizza!

When I sunk my teeth into the bun, boy was I surprised! The texture was chewy albeit its bulky appearance (it was bigger than my hand), and the aroma of herbs took over my senses immediately! I toasted the bun for a few minutes (which I highly recommend you to) so the exterior was abit crusty, giving a nice contrast to the chewy bun underneath. In the taste profile, the bun could pass off as a pizza minus all the tomatoes, mozzarella, and pizza toppings, and was more filling than your average bun (due to its size and density).

It may not be the most eye-catching bread among their plethora of baked goodies, but you should check this out if you are there. Its my first time trying their bread, and definitely not the last!

A lot of creative bread loaves. They offer in half and full loaf. They will also slice it for you.

Oishi Pan Bakery has officially made it to my list of favourite bakeries!!! Although it's located under a heartland HDB block, it doesn't just sell your typical white buns with conventional fillings; in fact, it has a pretty unique and interesting variety that covers all kinds of bread.

I absolutely love the Magarina French (front, $2.80) - a French bread studded generously with cheddar cheese, spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. Toast it to achieve that crusty exterior, before digging in to the savoury fillings within the fluffy bread. The Mochi An Pan Bun (back, $2) is a great option too, with mildly-sweetened red bean paste surrounding a huge mochi on each half of the bun.

Will definitely return to try other breads, cakes and pastries!
