Day out with buddies n 6 kiddos. Order lotsa foods n alcohol. Everything's great. Kids in the in-house pool n adults enjoying our drinks. Then we add-on ordered the Mushroom Pasta (the green one in the pic is not it) it was so good that it didn't even make it for us to take a pic. First plate, 2nd plate n 3rd plate. All of us asked for more. Will definitely be back just for that stuff. It's ADDICTIVE!!!

The nacho chips and truffle pastas are highly recommended at Ola Beach Club. Coupled with the backdrop of the gorgeous beach, it is a great setting for date night.

While you kick back over a tropical tipple, young ones can play on the sand at this restobar by the beach. On food, there's plenty to keep both the kids and you wide-eyed — think sweet teriyaki Huli Huli Chicken (from $15) and Kalua Pork Pizza ($15). Also get the Haupia Sphere ($19.50), a fun chocolate ball dessert that melts as you drizzle warm chocolate sauce over it.

Containing the breast and thigh part of the chicken, both parts were souv vide to retain tenderness. Really love the slightly burnt leeks in this dish.
Realised that interestingly Hawaiians and the Japanese share really similar cuisine concepts (like how their poke bowl are somewhat like Barachirashi Dons) - or maybe just these two.

That aside, Haupia Sphere ($22) from @olabeachclubsg made my Saturday. Though, it is definitely not a new concept but you still can't help but feel excited when the warm chocolate melts away the Valrhona dark chocolate casing and revealing the content hiding inside (made of coconut chantilly cream, coconut sponge and even nata de coco!). Filled with both coconut and chocolaty goodness 😌

This was a hosted tasting courtesy of @olabeachclubsg and thank you @sixthsensepr for the lovely invite 🌴
