Yesterday on our 10km walk back from West Lake to Old Quarter, we found a roadside stall selling this thin breadstick-like baguette with pâté and coleslaw. It cost 5000dong (SGD$0.30).
The inside of the balls! So yummy! Hope I bump into the lady again!
Walking around the Old Quarter and saw this woman hauling this big basket of fried donuts in so many different shapes and sizes. The balls are very chewy and in the centre is mung bean paste. One donut for 2,000 dong (SGD$0.10)! So addictive. We tried the sugar coated ones and one akin to gula Melaka.
