The easiest and most convenient choice is to get the Four Heavenly King ($76.80), which comes with 8 petite mooncakes that include the new flavours of Black Truffle Red Lotus Paste with Bakwa (2pcs), Bird Nest Pandan Gula Melaka (2pcs), Hae Bee Hiam Red Lotus Paste (2pcs) and the returning favourite of White Lotus Paste with Yolk Blend (2pcs). The black truffle red lotus paste with bakkwa is perhaps the most interesting out of the lot as it comes in a charocoal-black exterior with artful gold brushstrokes and contains a filling of smoky bak kwa that has been infused with premium black truffle oil and paired with the red lotus paste. The bird nest pandan gula melaka is another that I will recommend as the filling contains the nourishing bird’s nest with a white lotus, winter melon and pandan paste, with coconut flakes added to it for the additional texture.
