Their signature and really shiok. Intense with wok hei. Nice pork slices.

This is meant as their carbs to go with other dishes you order. Cheap cheap. Unfortunately it's nothing special.

So Back to @oldworldfriedporridge, for their Mixed Pig’s Organ fried porridge.

I really went all the way to Yishun for this but I’m glad it didn’t disappoint! The Bak Kut teh here had more of a peppery tinge, which I personally prefer. The pork ribs weren’t as tender, but they weren’t too dry either. One of their popular staples, the dry fried mee sua, was an interesting pair along with the soup. Fried with dark sauce, the mee sua was on the sweeter side — perfect for people who love sweet and savoury flavours coming together. While a great alternative, I am personally still a fan of white rice together with my Bak Kut teh😅 would definitely return try their fried porridge though!

Simple yet so deep in taste. Creamy, mushy and rather peppery porridge with light wok hei; served with succulent marinated pork. Garnished with shallots and spring onions.
I like the sliced pork as it was tasty on its own as the meat marination penetrated inside out thoroughly.😋
For the porridge, it was savoury and tastisfying but not to the extend of wow. Maybe was due to the lack of wok hei it has or I expected the texture to be a little crisper for a better mouthfeel.🤔
However, for the price to size to quality ratio, it was pretty wallet-friendly.\o/
