Decided to try this place for the first time after wandering around Kallang Wave Mall. You can only order and pay via a kiosk similar to those you see at McDonalds. Anyway, I decided to go for the Sutagi Ramen ($16.50) as it contained my favorite steak ๐Ÿฅฉ. Based on the description, it has Gochujang broth, steak, onsen tobikko, and nori. The broth itself was extremely flavourful and I sipped it happily till the last drop! The steak was cooked medium to medium rare and I just wished they gave more slices!!

Food 4.5/5

Tried the salmon and beef bowl, it is really delicious! However the portion is just nice for ladies, I think 2 bowls for guy

Omg this is so overdue.. hahaha thanks @mattewaves for inviting me to tag along on your food tasting. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I donโ€™t remember what I had already but I liked the glass noodles! ๐Ÿ

Ordered the $10 Ji-Ji Don meal, and let me just say: the meat are so well seasoned, and go together really well. This is worth the money, and whatโ€™s more: no service charge!

Spicy chicken, korean glass noodles, onsen egg, tobiko, korean bbq sauce

Price: SGD 10 - Ji-Ji Don

Add-On:
SGD 4 - Takoyaki
SGD 1 - Iced Lemon Tea

It was a relatively pleasant dining experience here at Omo Omo. The Ji-Ji Don comprises of 3 Soy Garlic Winglets, Spicy Chicken Bulgogi, Teriyaki Chicken Cubes, Onsen Tobikko (Japanese Egg) and Don (Rice). We've also added a side dish, the Takoyaki (5 balls), and a cup of Iced Lemon Tea.

Also, we took the Bibimbap, BBQ Mayo, and Teriyaki Sauce. The Bibimbap and Teriyaki sauce were average, and the BBQ Mayo sauce was just plain weird to me.

It can be a little pricey but I think it's pretty worth it because the portion was huge and it can be shared by two (if you don't have a huge appetite). This outlet is currently not halal-certified, but the one at Star Vista is. So give it a try if you have yet to done so!
