Omote has been THE place to satisfy my chirashi craving. But it was only today that I uncovered this gem - spicy dashi chirashi (not sure if it’s new)

Oh my this was spectacular. For a start, the sashimi were incredibly fresh. No hints of fishy taste (always consistently fresh for all my visits), good amount of fats to meat. Some places have their sashimi way too fatty which causes gelatness. But never omote - I’ll always finish the bowl feeling super satisfied and happy. 😊

The thing that sets apart this bowl from the usual/standard is the seasoning they toss the sashimi in. It’s reminiscent of sesame oil/garlic with spice. The result: a flavourbomb. Umami, spicy yet not overpowering - very well balanced with the sashimi. Drizzled over the fragrant rice makes the rice x10000 better than it already was.

Also, the cuts are super generous - thick and succulent slices of fish. Never skimpy, that’s why I’m a proud returning customer. Very value for money.💰

I’m a happy girl 👧🏻

This truffle garlic barachirashi is one of a kind that makes you go woah from the first bite - especially if you're a big truffle and garlic love like me. The chunky seafood (tuna, salmon, octopus) are topped with a rich truffle sauce, and peppered with garlic chips.

Please note to make a reservation before you go because the queues can get notoriously long. also shout out to their unique drinks with their happy hour - I had the gula melaka matcha milkshake that paired well with this bowl!

thick chunks of fish and generous amounts of ikura makes for a flavourful bowl 😋 though i personally prefer the rice previously from sushiro. have been a loyal fan of theirs from its humble beginnings, now with more seating and a posh ambience, it’s a great place for dates/gatherings!

An interesting mix of chirashi don as it contains marinated diced seafood cubes, spicy salmon and salmon sashimi.

If you enjoy bara chirashi but feels that it’s lacking some spiciness, this dish is certainly for you! Guaranteed shiokness!

Was craving for sashimi and decided to give Omoté a try!

Their signature Omoté Chirashi is a classic bowl of chirashi don done right! The bowl of fluffy Japanese rice was topped with a good portion of marinated diced seafood sashimi. The sashimi was fresh and good! It’s indeed very value for money!

Added the lunch premium set (+$8) which consists of the following:
Mentaiyaki Gyoza
Salmon Sashimi
Japanese Salad
Takoyaki (Hot Appetizer)
Ginger with Marinated Fish Meat (Cold Appetizer)
Miso Soup

Would top up for the extra slices of salmon! But otherwise, nah.

Do make a reservation with them before going to avoid the queue!

Not the freshest but it’s Super value for money and satisfying. Add on $5 to make it a meal with miso soup, salad, salmon sashimi.
