something fishy charcoal bagel $12

went during lunch time and crowd was ok

also whats the proper way to eat a bagel??? we dk so we ended up in a mess (unless this is the correct way) esp the classic bec haha. egg was dripping everywhere lol when we were trying to remove the wrapper. so many eggs massacred just to get massacred by the eggs

generous serving of salmon in something fishy! yums

i think the only other downside is the bagel wasnt rly cut evenly 😩 otherwise it’s p good and one of the cheaper options out there (??)! haha

I usually stick my nose up at vegetarian options but this really blew my socks off. The portabello mushroom was incredibly juicy and the caramelised onions naturally sweet. What was especially of note was how the flavourful garlic aioli tied everything together beautifully. What a surprise hit!

You can't go wrong with deviled eggs and spam in a bagel/sandwich and this was no exception. That said, I would have hoped for the eggs to have more of an exciting flavour to them to seal the whole item together.

visited a café at SMU after lessons and I must say their bagels were really affordable and yummy!! super worth tbh!!

this was their bogogi beef ($10) and the amount of beef inside was so generous and it’s also filled with kimchi, a sunny side egg and some veggies as well!! definitely worth the money especially for broke uni kids like me HAHAHA jk, can’t wait to try the rest of their bagels~~

📍ONALU Bagel Haús, SMU School of Accountancy📍
💸 Somethin’ Fishy: $11
💸 The Big Breakfast: $14

Headed down to Onalu which is conveniently located within SMU🥯It is definitely the more affordable option compared to Two Men Bagel House. But their bagels were, in our opinion, denser and chewier compared to Two Men🤔 Something Fishy🎣 would be our pick between the two bagels we’ve got- thick layer of smoked salmon paired with the scallion cream cheese☺️ The Big Breakfast had all the classic breakfast items but was just a little too jelak for us and dripping with maple syrup (?), making the bagel a tad too soggy😕

Bagel was soft, fluffy and comes with loads of sesame seed.
Love how generous they were in giving that Norwegian Smoked Salmon. You can see my bagel is literally bursting and crying for help to be eaten. The bagel had a spread of scallion cream cheese, red onions, tomatoes, capers and dill. With a more prominent taste coming the red onions, one can expect a unique tang to hit your tastebud. Smoked salmon as expected tasted slightly salty and smoky.
Eat the bagel with caution as the fishy tend to swim out of the bun easily. If you find it too thick to fit into your mouth, suggest you take out some of the salmon and eat it alone thereafter for a full hit of fishy.😋
