From the Burpple community

Ordered ham and cheese sourdough $13 and French toast $17 using the Burpple 1-1 for the 1st time. French toast was a little dry as I was expecting it to drench in eggs. The generous serving of fruits helps to give the toast some moist. The food presentation was superb !
The ham and cheese sourdough is just average. The bread was able to hold the crisp even after 30min. Have cafe latte and long black. Drinks served were piping hot, which I like !

The corner cafe is monotone (black, white & grey) decor, give a feel of Industrial look, but is not boring as the business is bursting with activities. The crews are friendly & helpful too.
We order the All In Breakfast & The French Toast which comes with one cold brew on One for One Burpple Deal. The All In breakfast has the full work. The Chorizo Susage is meaty with a good bite, yummy. I decide to try out the French Toast which is out of my normal, it turns out really out of my expectation (in a good way). The Brioche is dip in Salted Caramel gives a savory touch. The Banana is well torched tastes sweet give a good contrast to the tadness of Strawberry & Blue Berry.
Feeling relax at home, a nice place to return for more chilling.

Ordered the cocotte and carbonara. Both had eggs which were still runny.

The yolks were also a deep orange hue rather than yellow, which apparently means the chickens are healthier and eat better.

Made a trip down to try out OMC’s brunch offerings and wasn’t disappointed! On the table:

• All-In Brekkie (scrambled eggs)
• All-In Brekkie (onsen eggs)
• Iced white
• Iced matcha latte

Total bill: $31.50

Personally preferred the onsen eggs pairing for the All-In Brekkie – the oozey yolk and soft whites served as a really nice eggy dip for the bacon and chorizo! Eat it all together in one bite with the buttered sourdough and sautéed mushrooms and it’s really just *chefs kiss* 😋 Iced matcha latte isn’t as sweet and carries some bitter notes from the matcha. A very hearty brunch at an affordable price tag with the Burpple deal.

Only gripe is that our request to have indoor seating once available was rejected 🥲 Outside seatings were by the alley and the ground isn’t level. On hot sunny days the area can get quite warm too! 🥵

The all-in-one breakfast ($19) was super hearty and delicious, great crispy sourdough bread and flavourful bacon! Had the mushroom ($14) and tomyum ($18) pastas also and was balanced and very generously topped, not very spicy for both. The baked eggs cocotte ($17) (not in picture) had a good tomato base dip with half boiled eggs, but would prefer if there was more bread! Do try their coffee too, its great~

Tried the gashouse eggs ($13) together with the ham & cheese sourdough ($13). The gashouse had a unique style of cooking the eggs, and the cheesy flavours were just perfect! The ham one was a little salty and tough to cut through, but still quite delicious. Cold brew was not bad too!
