Had a peaceful lunch at One Prawn & Co. The food and ambience was awesome. Special mention to the "Smoky Kombu Prawn Toast" which had crispy and buttery texture and rich in prawn taste.
Cosy cafe and good food. Halibut burger was good, even the brioche bun used was fragrant and tasty. They were generous with the mentaiko sauce for the tater tots and the bread was healthy with a nice topping of sour cream.
We had the chance to dine here weekend, and it didnāt disappoint :D We were welcomed with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff.
The look menu was super cool, featuring a lot of dishes that immediately caught my eye everything looked so good. We ordered the 3-cup chicken Karaage, it came with a creamy honey mayo sauce, it added a unique touch that made it stand out from any other karaage Iāve had before.
We also tried the mentaiko tater tots, they were really generous with the mentaiko sauce.
For the main course, we got the Holy Halibut burger and the Cold Mala Crack Noodles. The fish was cooked just right with just the right amount of seasoning. It paired wonderfully with the other flavors on the plate. The Cold Mala Crack Noodles came with perfectly seasoned tempura, and the flavors were interesting. As for drinks, we ordered the CoCo Cloud, it looked adorable and fluffy, and it tasted just as cute as it looked.
Love the chill atmosphere, and friendly service.
Came in on a saturday afternoon for a reservation and we were pleasantly greeted by the cosy atmosphere of the restaurant⨠The owners of the restaurant were really friendly and kindly recommended us some of their specialties. We ended up getting the Mentaiko Bomb Tots and the 3-cup chicken Karaage. The tater tots were extra crispy, and were served with a generous amount of mentaiko sauce which was a great dish for starters. The karaage on the other hand was well fried, not too oily, and to our surprise, the creamy honey mayo with a hint of tanginess went really well with it. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Holy Halibut Burger, the battered fish was well seasoned and came out tender. Accompanied by the yuzu tartar sauce, every bite melted in our mouths and it was heavenly ! We also got the Cold Mala Crack Noodles, the dish was interesting, the tempura was well fried as well and we enjoyed it. It was one of the more unique dishes, an experience thatās worth a try. Their range of drinks were really intriguing as well, the description got my mouth watering and i wish we couldāve tried all ! in the end we settled on the Coco Cloud. We were surprised by the presentation of it and enjoyed the refreshing and sweet drink. Was a great experience at One Prawn & Co and we look forward to coming back again in the future š¤¤!!
Ordered āThe Firelineā menu. I enjoyed the experience and the fusion of flavours. I loved the smoky prawn toast which was crispy and tasty.
š¦ Tried the Fireline menu and was blown away by the size and juiciness of the prawns served. The Malt Black sourdough ice cream was such a unique and delicious way to end the meal.
