Was sorely disappointed by the ice creams here. The chrysanthemum one tasted like just milk ice cream - there was no trace of the chrysanthemum flavour at all; the only flavour was from the goji berry topping. Hojicha was alright in comparison, we could at least taste a discernible hojicha flavour. I did like the smooth texture of their ice creams, but the flavour was way too mild.

Whilst the gelato was slightly more to the doughier side, I liked their experimentation of different flavours. ๐™Ž๐™ข๐™–๐™จ๐™๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™Ž๐™ฅ๐™š๐™˜๐™ช๐™ก๐™ค๐™ค๐™จ (~$3.80) was reminiscent of a lighter version of our favourite lotus biscuit, though nothing particularly stunning. ๐Ÿช

With a very mild papaya Essence and an even milder burnt flavouring, I found the ๐˜ฝ๐™ช๐™ง๐™ฃ๐™ฉ ๐™‹๐™–๐™ฅ๐™–๐™ฎ๐™– (~$3.80) a tiring flavour to get by, and I struggled to finish this. ๐Ÿฆ

Another flavour leaving me feeling indifferent was the ๐˜ฝ๐™ค๐™ช๐™ง๐™—๐™ค๐™ฃ ๐™‘๐™–๐™ฃ๐™ž๐™ก๐™ก๐™– (~$4.80), with the extremely temporal bourbon taste fizzling out as soon as I tasted it. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Can you kill three birds with one stone? Well, you can at One Stone Three Birds. A rather hole in the wall gelateria in Clementi Town Centre that I chanced upon randomly a couple of months back.

All gelato is made in-house and they have a good selection of local inspired flavours. I decided to go for the double scoop ($7) and picked Yinnโ€™s Osmanthus & Chrysanthemum and Kopi-C Gao.

The Yinnโ€™s Osmanthus & Chrysanthemum is their bestseller thatโ€™s named after their customer. This is an extremely light and refreshing treat in our tropical weather. I like the hints of osmanthus and chrysanthemum flowers and the generous amount of goji berries (hidden) within the ice cream itself. It was akin to having osmanthus and chrysanthemum jelly in frozen form but with reduced sugar.

And the Kopi-C Gao didnโ€™t disappoint as well. Intense in flavour and smooth in texture, it was indeed very concentrated (gao). This could be due to the good a I was impressed by how it replicated the actual drink.

They were really generous with sampling back when I visited (before COVID-19 brought about a new normal for all of us). You should drop by this place if youโ€™re in Clementi.

Open for takeaway. Check their website for the weekโ€™s flavours.

Unique flavours all day everyday!! This is very confusing for me HAHAHA but in a good way I guess! ๐Ÿ˜†

Extremely soft, thick and refreshing gelato flavour thatโ€™s sweet which really well with the cone.
