Because of the situation now we can’t take the ingredients ourselves so the auntie who works there had to help us take our orders. I guess she didn’t want to make so many rounds because she’s working alone so she gave us a really huge portion of meat hahaha. The soup bases I ordered (pork, tomato and mala) were not bad! They’re very flavourful. Ingredients wise, just normal I guess.
Onepot offers a wide variety of soups and ingredients at affordable prices. You can get up to 3 soups per table and we got laksa, mala and chicken soup. The chicken was a bit plain for our liking but the laksa and mala were flavourful and yummy.
Yes, with #burpplebeyond it's possible. Although it's not the best, it's not too bad either considering the spread available (scallops, bamboo clams, mutton slices, etc). You're able to satisfy your mala cravings definitely. Do note that your clothes will smell of mala oil after the meal, so just go really casual if you want to!
The sauces are pretty standard, & are right by the entrance. Next to that are the ice cream freezer & free flow sugary drinks station - these cost $2 extra (total), which I didn't opt for & I felt I wasn't missing out on much.
For meat, I basically whacked the beef & mutton as I usually do. They weren't too fatty, which is great! The other options are pork & chicken.
The main section where the rest of the ingredients are saw a large variety seafood (the bamboo clams were a bit smelly though), mushrooms, vegetables, my favourite tang hoon & thick sweet potato noodles, & I must have cracked 4 eggs into the soup nearing the end of my meal 😂 Overall, in terms of variety & quality of food, I was quite happy with what was offered.
Give the Xiao Long Baos a miss, though - despite being included in the buffet price, they aren't actually nice. Not much soup inside, & the skin is way too thick. The top is also very stiff & hard (that's what she said).

You choose 3 soup bases at the start of your meal - the soup bases costs additional, but the prices are still kept reasonable. The 3 soups are segmented in a square - that is 1 large, 2 small. The prices on the soup menu are determined by how many pax are dining, not how big your soup pot is (large/small).
I chose the chicken, laksa & herbal soup bases, the former is considered basic
& the latter 2 premium. I enjoyed them all, & I find the laksa soup particularly special. It's great for ingredients that really soak up the soup; I enjoyed putting my fried tau kee, all sorts of mushrooms & noodles inside. & the laksa isn't crazy spicy for me, so it was a pleasure to drink.

Onepot is fairly crowded on weekends, so it's advisable to make a reservation - while you're at it, why not use Eatigo to reserve, & offset a certain % of your bill?
For me, that % was 50%! Getting half off my weekend buffet (usual price $33.80++) made me very pleased. If you can't find a timing to get 50% off, fret not - they're also a Burpple Beyond partner so you can snag a good 1-for-1 deal with that too.
