Throwback to before they sprouted everywhere. It's one of those chains that's not elite but generally decent.

This brand offers traditional and modern renditions, and their dry mee sua with gravy is well loved.
.
Their fish balls, while smallish, are among the most bouncy, with an incredible springy chew to texture, and mild sweet savoury flavour.
.
The broth is light, with crisp lettuce and tender minced pork, resulting in a lovely meaty vegetal sweet savoury flavour.
.
I opted for mee pok / wide flat egg noodles, which had a soft chew, and picks up the gravy nicely. Has good savoury salty spice flavour.

Not bad. You can't really go wrong with mee sua done this way. But the seasoning could be better lah. The soup was shiok, but mainly due to the essence from the pig liver, which I don't even eat hahaha. Don't know why got abalone slices.

Saw a long queue here when we passed by the last time and made a mental note to come back for it. The Signature Meesua ($5.80) that comes with scallops seemed popular, but we got this bowl to satisfy our fishball cravings. Also decided to top up a dollar for pork livers in the soup since we heard good things, and so glad we did.

The mee kia used here is a flatter kind, and was very springy with a good bite. Chilli was punchy, while the soup was sweet and flavourful from the added minced meat. Fishballs were fresh, but I loved the livers the most - they were well marinated, crunchy and cooked superbly well. PS. Orh-Kee’s open 24 hours, so that means you can have suppers here too!
